TheMousefaceBeforeChristMouse · 01/12/2010 14:33

Sounds yum Blitz but you didn't laugh at my shite joke and no I am hurt.

Xmas Grin

YAYAYAYAY UNO!!!

Thank fuck for that.

So, what did you say and what did they say back? xx

TheMousefaceBeforeChristMouse · 01/12/2010 14:33

'now', 'now' I am hurt. God, I can't type today. Or any day actually.

YouKnowStuffingisforLunch · 01/12/2010 14:37

I started crying straight away :( rubbish me

I told them about the data changing and how I was being cold shouldered. They were very very concerned about the data and seemed to really believe me.

They're discussing what to do. I'm sure the whole office will know that I was in with them by now.

They said I mustn't worry anymore and must talk to them at anytime.

They were lovely :)

It has gone further too. Head of hr has been told.

What do you think will happen.

BlitzenAndCupidsSleighDodger · 01/12/2010 14:47

Uno, missed your post you brave lady! Xmas Grin

At least you have had a chance to tell your side before they got a chance to sully your reputation.

And the most important thing to remember is that I have new boots and I only paid £12 for them. Wink Grin

I want new boots!

Can I have some reassurance that I haven't overreacted please?

BlitzenAndCupidsSleighDodger · 01/12/2010 14:52

here

I had a load of money off vouchers which brought the price down.

They look much nicer in RL. Until 5th December you can double up clubcard vouchers so you could get them for £8 + £5 in cc vouchers.

TheMousefaceBeforeChristMouse · 01/12/2010 14:53

Well done UNO. xx

I think if HR are involved it will go down a specified route so to speak.

There will be 'guidelines' in place for the bullying and also for the changed data.

They (the mamangers) have to act as they cannot be seen to allow bullying in the workplace.

They will also have to record all conversations/document e-mails to you/the bullies and copy HR in on it all.

If you named names, those individuals will be dealt with, as will those responsible for changing the data.

Verbal and/or written warnings will be issued I'd have thought and all of this will be documented on their and maybe your employment record(s).

Your record for your own protection, and theirs because if the disaplinery action taken.

Don't worry. You have done the right thing. You cannot allow bullies to do this. Not to you, not to anyone.

BlitzenAndCupidsSleighDodger · 01/12/2010 14:53

UNO, you absolutely did the right thing, not over reacting at all. How many chances are you supposed to give people?

TheMousefaceBeforeChristMouse · 01/12/2010 14:55

Sexy boots Blitz! You'll look lush in them!

YouKnowStuffingisforLunch · 01/12/2010 14:59

Thanks mouse. I didn't name names although it's very obvious who would have done it, so I didn't need to.

I mentioned that y (not x the changer) was no longer speaking to me although she would respond about work issues, and that she was passing me work without telling me, just putting it where I couldn't see it on my desk (easy to do given the layout). Not so important but making me feel very uncomfortable.

Z I feel had just been dragged along and not really involved although she had been manipulated into talking to management about me.

I said I was very unhappy.

TheMousefaceBeforeChristMouse · 01/12/2010 15:03

They will act accordingly UNO.

You have done the right thing. Especially as your work had benn changed without your a) knowledge and b) permission.

I'm sure you will feel wobbly about it all but it is much, much better to deal with this now, than in another two or six months when it is 100 times worse.

Your managers will respect your honesty too.

You did the right thing xx

YouKnowStuffingisforLunch · 01/12/2010 15:08

Hope so. Thanks everyone :)

I have visions of you bending branches, cursing and tutting to yourself in your lounge at the tree!!! Xmas Grin

BlitzenAndCupidsSleighDodger · 01/12/2010 15:17

Where are you trying to fit it? Confused

YouKnowStuffingisforLunch · 01/12/2010 15:18

Oh I'm suffering from doubt. What if I'm wrong? What if somehow I changed the data? What if I was delirious?

:(

Oh I'm rubbish at being decisive.

BlitzenAndCupidsSleighDodger · 01/12/2010 15:19

You are not wrong, you had the original data so you know it was changed.

YouKnowStuffingisforLunch · 01/12/2010 15:20

But but but...

What if I'm wrong? What if I double checked all of them except those ones?

Now I know I'm being daft.

I know I checked all of them, but I'm still full of doubt :(

Someone slap me and push me in a tree.

BlitzenAndCupidsSleighDodger · 01/12/2010 15:22

YTou have done the right thing and it is out of your hands now.
