Hello, I'm Bitter and I have lost around two stone, have another 4 or 5 pounds to go.

Come for the healthy eating, stay for the chat. We do more of the latter than the former!

Evening all. TC, DS has never been invited to a single party. Sad

I don't know if they don't do parties round our way (I've certainly avoided it thus far!) or whether he doesn't get invited because he seems so much younger than the other kids.

There are some scarily streetwise children at his school (in reception he was in a minority for believing in santa Shock)and he is still an innocent.

either way, he seems happy and settled at school, so I won't worry about it too much.

are you casting aspertions on my religious ways total? ShockGrin

i'll have you know i went to sunday school till i was about 13, in a family church.

2 of my close friends were together 7 years before they married and they married as VIRGINS Shock

I dislike religion intensely and I just don't understand stuff, like the thing about priests being celibate was just to preserve church property way back in the day, nothing to do with religion at all, yet it is still adhered to. baffles me.

as does the caps lock key evidently Grin

tc - at dd's school they all have parties but all the class are invited to each so confers no special relationship iyswim.

We don't often do playdates, go through patches, I did quite a few onfriday afternoons but its hard because i dont drive so can only do when dp is here. I think if dd sees other kids either her 'friends' from school/my friend's dc/her cousins say once a month then thats more than enough, they have 5 days a week with other dc they need to chill at weekends Smile

Fluffbark is a toy dog with a very big head. He likes to cuddle me at night. Double - shut your mouth Grin

Ds has one friend who he sometimes goes round to play with. He is mates with both him and his brother who is in the year above.

They are nice little boys but their Dad is seriously creepy. So I avoid playdates as often as possible.

Mouse, He wears a long black leather coat, neither of them iron their clothes. They have dubious hygiene but the absolute worse is that he has long dirty fingernails.

And he has made too many comments about my norks for my liking.

New Tricks here in a mo too.

TotalChaos · 24/09/2010 20:55

long black leather coat I could get on with in a man, creepy and dirty a bit less erm desirable!

thanks ladies Smile. it's not that DS isn't sociable double, just that he seems a bit young for his age. not really sure if it's a natural consequence of having been so language delayed, or whether there's more to it than that Confused. I don't know as well how much it is that kids can be a bit well precocious these days, like bitter has described.

SAF - what film was it?

bitter - fluffy whatnot - chortle!
