don't you think she got hold of something and tried to swallow it that she shouldn't have? Was she in her cot? Maybe she snuggled some small item in with her, my dd would do things like that.

fqueenzebra · 30/08/2005 21:03

bed even, if she's 7... i've heard of 6yo children choking on marbles, you'd think they know better!

Mud · 30/08/2005 21:04

if she could cry its a good sign though cos it means air is getting in and out so tell her not to worry too muchn the child is in the best place

Whizzz · 30/08/2005 21:04

I think if she is still able to breathe its a good sign. If shes in the hospital they will sort it out.

thanks for answering so quickly - am going between worrying stupidly and thinking - of course it'll just be a amrble/bead or something. Am going upstairs to check all of her stuffed toys for loss of eyes etc.

the crying noise ws terrible though.

it's only about 10 -15 mins to the hospital.

All toys have their eyes.

OMG, how scarey - crying is a good sign though as others have said. If she really couldn't breathe she couldn't cry.

Let us know.
