HElp - DD choking and DH taken her to hospital - what can it be?!

DD just came downsatirs crying and choking - said something went in her mouth - can't work out what it cna be...said her neck was hurting and ws really crying in that awful way - she can breath properly - but DH has taken her up to the hospital. am worried sick - what can it be? I had alook with torch - I though I could see like an extra tonsil - if that doesn't sound completely barking.

he hasn't rung because he's dealing wth your adughter, she wil be fine she was breathing and crygn she will be fine and is going to the right place

have just heard from Dh. DD seen triage nurse and is now about to see a doctor - is amuch quieter than before - not crying or trying ot vomit. still says throat hurts but is obviously breathing ok. They may take an x ray

phew what a panic.

I must say it ws so helpful having all your posts over the last 30 mins - you are nice people

Great that she's been seen so quickly. Hope it is sorted out soon too. Everything sounds calm. Can now go and have a coffee but will check in tomorrow for update. Good luck.

you know what i was thinking - if it isn't something she swallowed - it's oneof those hideous throat infections that just swell up.

i was just saying to Coddy - It's normally me who deals with an energency - but this time there ws just something in her crying that made me wobble and so Dh took her up to the hospital

Gawd - how frightening. Glad she's getting sorted out at the hospital. It couldn't be one of those allergic reactions which makes your throat swell, could it??
