HElp - DD choking and DH taken her to hospital - what can it be?!

DD just came downsatirs crying and choking - said something went in her mouth - can't work out what it cna be...said her neck was hurting and ws really crying in that awful way - she can breath properly - but DH has taken her up to the hospital. am worried sick - what can it be? I had alook with torch - I though I could see like an extra tonsil - if that doesn't sound completely barking.

i did wonder abou that - and of course couldn't remember what she'd eaten etc!

am signing off for now - will give full and final version tomorrow.

Hello hello - sorry it's taken so long to update you all.

Well - DH took DD to the hospital as you know - saw the Triage nurse etc. DD was calimg down by this stage but still moaning with pain. Nurse arranged for her to see the doctor and possible xray. They waited and waitied and then...3 ambulancesturned up with various emergencies and walking wounded. so they got put back in the queue..andwaited...DD fell sleep..Dh nodded off...(I was still panicking obvioulsy!)...at midnight he rang and sid it seemed nonsensical to sleep any longer at the hospital and he ws coming home. He arrived back about 12.30. DD went to bed.

we are all exhausted. In the mornign DD said her throat still hurt. but she ws ok in every othe respect. I took her to see the Gp this afternoon- who could't work it out either. Looked at her tonsils - couldn't see the 'spot' whic I had seen. Said her glands were up a bit.

DD then said she had also had a stomach ache. GP seemed quite interested. DD said it was ever since Sunday when she had eaten a beefburger at a barbecue (we are vegetarian and she's not used to meat).

I had known about this beefnbuger incidetn and the resulting upset tummy on Sunday night. hadn't thought there was any connection at all. Gp thought the throat buring feeling may have been an acid reflux in response to the ingestion of meat.

I'm not totally convinvced

BUT at least she is ok now and we can all breathe again.
