Well, I'm just here for the banter and a chance to talk bollox, and we also do weight loss, WATER drinking (I'm the 'ficcial water monitor, and I have a badge), and heart to hearts..

I am the Mittz(not Mitts), I need to lose about 10lb, but get my head straight in the process..

I am sure one of my lovely companions will be along shortly......

DH is trying really hard and the DC had an absolute blast.

It was cheesy and tacky beyond words, but it was a cheap Holiday so I'm not knocking it. We did all the Bucket and spade Donkey Rides Shennanigins which was fun.

I'm not Dry either Mouse until Monday - you're doing grand.

Old ladies knit, and crochet, and put antimacassars on the backs of their chairs.

Thank you Bitter. xx

How old is old? My Mum is a granny and she spends a lot of the time on the back of a motorbike.

And the rest of the time knitting.

SAF, your bread sounds yummy. I've had my breadmaker two and half years and I've only ever done a white loaf and pizza dough.

Double I've not read Handmaids Tale, I shall put that on the neverending reading list.

I did Tons of jigsaws when I was on Mat leave - very theraputic.

Loved the HandMaids Tale - I didn't realise there was a film?

I don't know what were having for dinner, I've not been shopping yet. I am currently eating Marmite on toast - yum.

I was sorely tempted to have a monster munch sandwich as we have white squidgy bread in so marmite on toast is virtuous in comparision.

Hope the night was worth it Trills.

FFS

Can someone talk me down please.

DD has just come back in floods of tears, her 'friends' have ditched her and rode off.

She had a spare bike from one of them which is now thrown into the garden and she's broken my really nice brolly!!

I'm fucking livid. I'm tired of trying to keep the piece with them all.

She'd in her room, my broken, gorgeous brolly is in the bin I want to hit the vodka.

I WON'T!!! But I want to.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 31/07/2010 14:18

You won't Mouse, because it's just an umbrella, no-one died.

You won't because if you use this as an excuse to have a drink, then you will keep on finding excuses.

And you won't because when you wake up in the morning with a clear head, you will feel extra proud of youself because you had a shitty day today and still stuck to your guns.

Go and give your DD a big cuddle.

Marmite and cheddar on crumpets is Lush. I used to have a really cool marmite T shirt when I was about 16. It was just a brown T with the marmite logo on it. I loved it.

Camping will be fun for your DD wasting.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 31/07/2010 14:38

Double, even

Mouseface · 31/07/2010 14:41

God I'm starved!!!

I heart marmite but have none. And chedda cheese is lush.

Coffee and biscuits for now.

DD is fine. Her friends are vile. But they will all be bezzy mates again in an hour.
