Well, I'm just here for the banter and a chance to talk bollox, and we also do weight loss, WATER drinking (I'm the 'ficcial water monitor, and I have a badge), and heart to hearts..

I am the Mittz(not Mitts), I need to lose about 10lb, but get my head straight in the process..

I am sure one of my lovely companions will be along shortly......

Alright thanks Fluff, although DD2 split her head open. All ok now

Think i might have found a way to do M&A work part time, which is exciting and terrifying in equal parts. When are you due back? I presume your lot weren't interested in lil 'ol me?

Iggii · 29/07/2010 21:13

Am putting the kettle on ID, it's hot chocolate time [saddo that I am]

Good luck with your endeavours Crispy. I am sure it will be successful!

Oh Mittz, you know you have to post what you're feeling, or what's the point? I think your car analogy is spot on! Now, I have garden furniture that needs some new varnish tomorrow. Am very tempted to slap a coat on top, but I know it really should get sanded down properly to get the crap off and make a good surface for building on. But this takes longer, makes my hands bleed and gets up my nose.
You are doing a great job by working with your past and preparing the ground for your future.
Having DCs brings all the stuff to the surface, I think that is widely recognised - certainly happened for me!

Mittz · 29/07/2010 21:27

Well, I wouldn't wish it on anyone Fluffy but it is a kind of relief that what I am going through has a normality to it rather than being completely isolated and loopy.
Good loopy I can handle

How Crispy, that sounds positive.. glad DD is recovered, head bumps are just about the worst trauma...

Love it that we ask how each others bits are.. if anyone is wondering, mine are in tip top condition at the moment

Wasting, how are you lovely? x

at 'bits confirmation'

It is positive Mitts, but self doubt rears its ugly head at this point, so will be an interesting couple of weeks

wastingaway · 29/07/2010 21:42

I'm ok Mittz thank you. DS is back in his buggy til he can walk in a forward direction and hold my hand when told to. He's nearly driven me to distraction this week with that, but we've been out every day, and I'm working on talking to and seeing old friends more.
I've had my hair cut, neatly this time today and registered us with the dentist, so I'm feeling on the ball.
Still eating too bloody much though.

The councelling sounds like hard work, but I'm sure it'll be worth it in then end.

FluffyCut · 29/07/2010 21:56

god dont think that crisp, it takes them bloody months to get back to anyone, will chase them this week.

so, part time m&a, tell me more... do they need part time proposals? and 'ouch' re the head!! how did she do that??

wasting - am bit pissed off, drs says my lumps are cysts but that my honeymoon freshness is due to too tight stitching so have got to have gynae appt, bah. also had loads of blood tests which have all come back negative apart from a high esr (?) so ive got some sort of infection somewhere apparently.

iggi - yy to the varnishing analogy.

wheres saf?

anyone else want to check in re their bits? Obviously mine are 'tightest', and 'least used' but we could have awards for 'freshest', 'loosest' and ermmm 'fullest'

'Ello lighter lovelies.

Fluffs - thank you for the kind thoughts re reflux hell!!! I hear you and I know what you go through so please, any questions, or worries, meds, what nexts......etc. Ask. xx

I am FULL to bursting. Yuk but yum at the same time!!

Strawberries next. Only one (or 3). I'll pop.

Going to bed very soon. So I'll say night.

Thank you again for your continued support.

Mittz, sweetie. I have no words of wisdom. I wish I did. Just know that I, and I'm sure others are, here for you, day or night. xx

Night. xx

TotalChaos · 29/07/2010 22:23

Mouse. Happy anniversary. Well done with the cutting back.

Mittz - I've also had a watery thought - I was brought up in a faith which had a custom of symbollically casting off the previous years sins by throwing pieces of bread(!) into a large body of flowing water. Now I have pretty much lost my religion, as it were, but I thought the whole concept of letting the river flow and take away the bad stuff has a certain beauty to it. so I don't know if, once you find your river if not the sea, you could try casting off bad memories.

Fluffy - that all sounds like a bit of a PITA but will be worth it once your bits are back to their former glory and comfort!

Crispy - is M & A Mergers and Acquisitions? You and Fluffy sound to have awfully high powered lines of work!

CrispyTheCrisp · 29/07/2010 22:25

Fluff, not as yet my dear, but when my business empire expands, i know where you are

My bits (well whole body tbh) is rather sore after running/pilates/powerplate etc

Hurrah for lovely evening Mouse. you deserve it

Love the swishy hair Wasting

and while you're here, thank you very much for your help, is much appreciated

right off to bed with 'bad science' hoping it will be good. xx

oh my new name is down to the hair, thinking of chopping all off at weekend, find me some styles please you lot!! not short short, my hair is nearly waist length, but more maybe mid length.... no point keeping long is always in ponytail and i cant keep it nice so pointlesshaving it, i need a style.

CrispyTheCrisp · 29/07/2010 22:35

Yes it is TC, but don't be fooled, tis common sense mainly, oh and making sure that the men involved in such things can keep their egos in check

Thanks SaF, has all come about rather from left field, so I am trying to just run with it and see where it takes me.....

FluffyCut · 29/07/2010 22:36

saf - you fuck thanks for that image to go to bed on! dp wants to keep it like it is, oh hes a card is dp

saf - getting out and about I don't usually have problems with - it's more the social hermit stuff that's the problem - picking up the phone or even e-mailing people that I get phobic about - am in a better place with that than I was earlier in the year thankfully!

fluffy - you're welcome. Not been to a hairdresser in over 6 years but I imagine the answer for thick long hair is usually an above the shoulder cut with layers put in....

CrispyTheCrisp · 29/07/2010 22:42

D'oh, think it has taken over my brain SAF, had forgotten about the diet/exercise LOL

TC, I really like that idea, was thinking about writing some stuff on a chinese lantern and releasing it. I quietly like that kind of symbolism, have just never put it into practice.

Saf..yes, it takes one time to reconnect with one's bits after undignified experiences,

Hair.. everyone should completely shave at least once in their life, it is very liberating

OP posts:
Mittz · 29/07/2010 22:53

Dunno SaF.. There are some pretty gross penile issues that I would gladly not have to endure.. DC has had recurring balanitis ..just don't google it OK!
