SAF - just ask....... if you need advice, ask. MrMouse has been his own boss for 9 years. I'm sure he can advise on tax, NI, etc......

I think you have sellable products.......

ArmedAndDangerous · 24/07/2010 21:31

cool but you might confuse saf with that post

VAT is the bit that will be different as it will be very firm on the regulations. just a case of hitting the internet to research.

and thankyou.

Mouseface · 24/07/2010 21:34

Sorry!! A&D - been a long day and stupid wine fingers are doing their own thing!!

I meant you A&D. My head is up my ass today. Sorry. xx

SAF - ignore me, please!!!

ArmedAndDangerous · 24/07/2010 21:35

No worries. Not head up ass, just very tired i suspect. Is ds any better this afternoon?

TotalChaos · 24/07/2010 21:38

hello, just checking in briefly, went to a crime fiction festival today, saw some authors speak so that was good, but took about a million hours in the car getting back, so knackered. sorry x continues to be a twunt gigi. I know bog all about business, but good luck with it all A & D. People seem to use etsy for craft stuff, so that might be a way forward?

Gigantaur · 24/07/2010 21:53

I learned a very important lesson just then.

I went out this morning without cleaning the litter tray.

one of the kittensa just shat on the floor in front of the TV.

I can assure you there is nothing more disgusting than picking up warm cat shit. It honks.

I will never ever forget the cat litter again!

Mouseface · 24/07/2010 22:19

A&D - nope. It is really, really hard work at the moment. I don't begrudge a second of my life to DS and his needs. But at times, like now, it is hard. I want to just stop feeding him. That way, he can't be sick. He spent hours crying this morning. My heart breaks.

I can't help him and it hurts.

Right you gorgeous few. Off to bed. And to shagdom as it's 'date night'.

Gigi - I hope that XP pulls his fecking finger out.

BitOfFun · 24/07/2010 22:47

It should be shag date night here too, but I've had major fanjo issues today. Thrush, period and quite possibly blisters and ice burns. Don't ask.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 24/07/2010 22:49

Believe me, I won't.

Saf, If we have a general chat thread I would want to incorporate healthy eating stuff too - gives us a common goal.

Get you and your fancy home made bread!

Good Morning ..

so can I still shout WATER at you all.. I liked being the water monitor.. I've never 'ad an official title before .

I slept a little better and my headaches has eased a little..

How are we all?

Alicetheinvisible · 25/07/2010 08:32

Morning

I think the fatties or Phat Chat would be good. I will need to be 'healthy eating' and exercising my arse off once this baby is out!

Just had half a melon and some chocolate milk for breakfast. DH is working long hours overtime today, it is always boring when he works weekends, there is nothing happening and DD and i only have each other for company. Think i will try to catch up with some washing. Anyone who fancies coming over for the day is most welcome.

TotalChaos · 25/07/2010 08:32

morning. yawn. place is a mess, need to do some exercise, do the garden. and force myself to go to an NCT picnic (will be last chance for me and DS to see friend and her kid before they bugger off abroad for the summer). Can't be bothered to play nice with strangers that are v. likely to be blonde upper middle class ubermummies (apols if anyone here is best mates with their NCT ante-natal group!)

Mittz · 25/07/2010 08:39

I would love to come and spend the day with you Alice.

Fatties is probably more workable into titles..

Alicetheinvisible · 25/07/2010 08:54

Ok Mittz, will make some cake

Total - if you do the housework and gardening really quickly it would be good exercise go to the picnic, see your friend then come home and open a bottle of wine

Going to get dressed and hang some washing out - such fun....

Alicetheinvisible · 25/07/2010 08:55

Oh, and Carrie and David's PopShop? I want to throw stuff at the telly and write letters to cbeebies.

Morning!

Alice, that is the worst programme ever invented. They are so patronising.

Glad you're feeling better Mittz.

Total, did you not get on well with the others at all then? I wish I'd joined in stuff earlier, it's hard trying to break into the mummy groups now he's 2.

It was funny, at the Children's centre I've failed to get chummy with anyone so far, but I think I managed to chat enough with the 'posher' (for Doncaster ) Mums to convince them that despite the dishevelled fat appearance, I may be one of them!
I read the Guardian! And bake cupcakes! I just look like trailer trash.

I seem to be in a considerably better mood when there is some blue in the sky.
I think I'm going to get one of my blue-sky holiday photos enlarged to go on the wall to help keep me going on cloudy days.

Alicetheinvisible · 25/07/2010 09:58

Wasting i was shocked to be invited along to all the mummy get togethers.

I am planning on getting lots of photos framed and almost covering one wall in the sitting room with them.

Mittz · 25/07/2010 10:00

DD is in a giggly mood and making DS laugh, when I poked my head in his room she told me to 'go away you big boobed momma@

Haven't seen the Carrie and David thing but they get on my nipples anyway, so I can imagine.

I have never achieved being part of the 'in' crowd. There is a prevelance of gossipy folk and it just ain't my thaing. The parent friends I have made have sort of happened slowly. Like chicken soup for the soul lady, some of the Mums at DD's school. They are quite alternative at DD's school in a non woo way and some good souls. They were at her old school I suppose but I never quite felt part of it all.
