Have just been into the half kitchen I have left. It's slowly flooding due to the fact that the fecking builders have failed to do as asked.

There is NOTHING I can do. I have laid newspaper and towels. But, Mother Nature has taken over now. It's been raining for 2 hours straight. I have checked that the electrics are protected and they are but I want to run away. I want to check into a hotel and come back when it's all done.

And I'm flooding off my feet this month with my period. MIL and SIL arrive tomorrow for 2 days. There is not enough vodka in this house to get me through the next 3 days.

DD leaves her school on Fri and has her leavers service on Thurs. She is gutted and upset already.
