I can never eat when I'm hormonal, I just don't feel like it. I'm out for dinner tonight so I may just save the calories.

LollipopViolet · 15/07/2010 11:54

Morning all!

I too am still awaiting my period, HOWEVER, I've decided I'm not going to worry any more, if it happens near my weekend away, I shall just have to (wo)man up and deal with it. I've planned to go swimming with my mates tomorrow and WILL be going no matter what!

Today's plans include a bit of photography I think. I'm very very bored not being at uni and one of my lecturers said in my last lot of feedback to do more photography to improve my camera skills for films, which is fair enough.

So I'll stick the camera on charge, and find some nice things to photograph.. Might do a series of everyday objects in unusual ways or something that doesn't involve going out in the rain!

Hello

Have had rubbish morning, bleurgh

People keep phoning me, not work related but DH (x3) stressing about stuff, my Mom (x2) to chitchat about what we want for dinner on Sunday

Quick FB question, how can my Mom see what I post on other people's (not her FB friend) walls? Luckily I didn't slag her off, it was an asthma question???

Mittz, I think it all depends on the tone, just ignore.

TrillianAstra · 15/07/2010 12:00

Because she is your friend Lizzy, so she can see what you wrote. It might depend on your friends' security settings - if they have their stuff set to 'friends only' then maybe she won't be able to see it. If they have their walls set to 'everyone' or 'friends of friends' then she would definitely be able to see it.

What time shall I be round for breakfast Saf?

Gigantaur · 15/07/2010 12:06

lizzy you can restrict your settings so that your posts on other peoples walls do not show up in third party news feeds.

I'm set to Friend's only, have just checked.
Worried now she can see other things I have posted!!!

TrillianAstra · 15/07/2010 12:12

Your mum IS your friend, right? So she can see what you have posted.

If you're really worried there is a padlock symbol when you do stuff and you can exclude people from seeing it.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 15/07/2010 12:19

Sounds Delish saf.

Sorry Lizzy, can't help with the fb query.

Lizzylou · 15/07/2010 12:22

But Trills, I posted on my friend's wall, who isn't a friend of my Mom's and I don't think she has an open profile...
Bum.
Just felt a bit like she was stalking me tbh.

LollipopViolet · 15/07/2010 12:38

Hmm, weighed myself again first thing this morning, and apparently, since Tuesday when I last did it, I've lost a pound Didn't do it at the same time, but did it under the same conditions, so no food or drink before, had been to the loo etc etc so that's really awesome I think! Or it's all a fake! Will see on Tuesday, cos then it'll have been a week!

Boiled eggs and salad for lunch, oh how exciting my life has become lol! BUT, homemade chili tonight, served with some egg noodles! Yum!

TrillianAstra · 15/07/2010 12:46

Ask your friend. I bet she has it set so friend of friends can see. She probably doesn't even know what her settings are TBH, most people don't.

I doubt it was stalking, it probably came up in her news feed.

TrillianAstra · 15/07/2010 12:48

For example right now my news feed is telling me that Alice has commented on someone else's status about having a back to back baby.

Mittz · 15/07/2010 12:49

A loss is a loss LV so well done .

Thanks re earlier... I do lose perspective sometimes and will try to ignore it, gives me an icky feeling like having something on the bottom of my shoe that nags as I walk but hardly a crisis I guess. Meh.

Anyway, I dozed off to hear the Door knocker going and DEM was at the door with a bunch of the most gorgeous Yellow Roses.. she just flew off on her way, but has really made me smile so I don't give a doodles about anything again now .

It will say on your wall that you posted on X's wall and I think your 'friends' can link to what you posted LL. It amazes me sometimes!

Wish I would come on I am like gremlin for junk at the moment!

I have adjusted my privacy settings because occasionally we use our MN nicknames on FB and I need to have a think about what I write on here strangely.

I know it is a public site but I don't want to leave a trail of clues, there is a Mother at school who is lovely but very very gossipy and nosy who I know reads stuff through her Sons FB account. Have talked quite openly about some personal stuff and have become aware how easy it is.

I am useless.

Must do more but suspect some noxious fizzy liquid might be needed to give me energy..

LollipopViolet · 15/07/2010 13:07

Swallowed, what did you use on the Macbook? I'm guessing just warm water? Mine's probably in need of a clean soon
