OK, I Love these. They will cripple me won't they?

Alicetheinvisible · 13/07/2010 10:58

They are beautiful though. You could always take some flipflops with you for later on

Morning, Tis me, Mouseface.

Coffee, strong please. Anyone? [begging emoticon]

Bitter - 1, 2 and yes 3 but not the belt.
Not 4. I like the John Lewis one too.

Bella - MiniMouse is still poorly. No sleep again. I'm just floating. I feel all weird.

Yank - ouch!! How is your poor arm! Agree with advice on the job front.

Fanny - glad the first day went well.

Portia - hope you get to see the studio 'in the flesh' soon! Your bro was out of order. Arse.

Lizzy - what is it with 'itisrightinfrontofyouitus'. Do all men have it???

TC - yuk! Phoning. I used to hate hitting the phones for a day in my old job. Probably why I quit!!!

Crunchy - glad to see we've not frightened you orf!! Good luck with the interview. Can supply interview tips if required but I'm sure you'll be grand!

Double, you are right.

Back to the drawing board .

I really can't walk in heels and will have 2 small children to chase after. Which is my next mission, a pretty dress for DD.

I need the belt to give me a waist!

Bitter - I like Next for pretty dresses.... and not too pricey!

You need to get a move on as I've found that they are putting Autumn stock in most places.

On-line may be different and you'll get better deals as they will want to clear the summer stuff.

Alicetheinvisible · 13/07/2010 11:34

Bitter you work in Tesco is that right? I got DD a lovely dress from there a few weeks ago for a tenner.

Mouse - sorry you and mini mouse are feeling rubbish

I am grumpy. No real reason, just grumpy. I have broken a bit off the tumble dryer too so DH will be cross. It still works, but this bit has been broken and glued back on already.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 13/07/2010 11:37

I've looked at Next, everything I like is out of stock!

I've bought this for DD (don't want her to clash with me ).

This is turning out to be an expensive morning.

Just need shoes for the two of us now, luckily DS has a suit already.

Mouseface · 13/07/2010 11:40

Alice - I'd glue it back on before DH gets back. He'll never know.

But I'm not 36+1 weeks pg and the fumes are a no go for babes.

I'm sure you didn't break it off on purpose did you????? He should know better than to get cross with a heavily pg woman!!

I can't figure out how it goes. Will tell him i fell over with it then i might get sympathy instead

Mouseface · 13/07/2010 11:42

Bitter - that is so cute!! What a bout the 3D flower shoes? £6? Can you get them in her size to go with?

How's things today? Are you working later? As Alice says, see what they have there?

Mouseface · 13/07/2010 11:44

Alice - sounds like a plan!!

Double - The 3D's for you - DVDs, Duvets and Delicious snackage me thinks!!!!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 13/07/2010 11:44

Ah, but double you are absolutely gorgeous, I have it from a good source. (that would be you then!)

So why wouldn't you want to co-ordinate your beautiful DC?

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 13/07/2010 11:44

Bella and mouse interview is for a roll in the payroll dept of a big company. I haven't had an interview in years so advice is very much appreciated! I'm planning on wearing smart pinstripe trousers with a black short sleeved shirt and boring brown heels.

I'm more nervous than I thought I would be, it's not my area of expertise but they know I've got no experience so they must have offered the interview based on something.

And wedges are definitely the way to go with the Boho dress, they're always more comfortable too.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 13/07/2010 11:45

Oh and if I do disappear, it won't be due to fear it'll be because I saw something shiney and got distracted

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 13/07/2010 11:46

I saw those shoes Mouse, but they are pre-walker. I think it's going to be a case of getting whatever sandals I can in her size.

I'm at work at six. No car this week so I'm going to have to walk in the rain.

Mouseface · 13/07/2010 11:49

Crunchy - are you on facebook? If you search me - Mouseface - you'll get me. I can then talk you down!!!

Outfit sounds ideal.

Yes, they like the look of your experience from elsewhere I'd say. Transferable skills. It's what you can bring to them. Any bits missing, they will train you on, especially if the like 'you'.

Something ticked the boxes. You deserve the chance for the role as much as anyone else!

You'll be fab!

TrillianAstra · 13/07/2010 11:50

Good luck Crunchy - sounds like you just need to demonstrate that you are smart and could pick things up quickly if they have invited you for interview with no experience. Make sure they are going ot give you proper training!

Mouseface · 13/07/2010 11:51

Crunchy - Shiney has that effect/affect - whatever - on most of us!!

Bitter - fair enough. I thought that they look diddy! No car is pants, has DH got it? [nosy emoticon] Sorry you have to walk!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 13/07/2010 11:51

Yes, Good Luck Crunchy - I'm sure it will be fine.
