Out of green, Reform and Liberal who should I vote for and Why?

Deffo don't want to vote labour or conservative, so please only sell the others to me! 😜

That's a very positive spin, but doesn't answer the question about why such a disproportionate number of openly racist people stand as Reform candidates. Why isn't this happening with other parties?

Cooper77 · 29/06/2024 16:44

I will be voting Reform. I see it as a protest vote against mass immigration, nothing more. The Greens should also be opposing mass immigration. They're supposed to be the party that wants to save the countryside ffs. In 2022, net immigration was 750,000 (probably closer to a million when you add in illegals). Where are they going to live? To house them all, we'll have to build three new Manchesters. WHERE?? Please, tell me. On what's left of the countryside of course. I know someone will say "well, statistically most of the UK is empty and blah blah..." yes, and statistically you could move every human on Earth to Iceland if they all stood shoulder to shoulder and nobody breathed out. But would you want to live in Iceland under those conditions? No, you would not.

This issue isn't going away. People keep droning on about falling birth rates, but the world's population is still growing. In 1960, there were three billion of us. Today, there are eight. The world's population will peak in the middle of the century at somewhere near ten billion – perfect, right in the middle of a f-ing climate crisis. Besides, the birth rate isn't dropping everywhere – Africa's birth rate is so high that their population is going to double.

I am so angry at the Tories failure to bring immigration under control. My local woods have been hacked down to make way for two disgusting new housing estates filled with horrible rabbit hutches jammed on top of another, and a second massive estate has been built at the other end of the village. 800 new homes are planned for the road that leads into town (a road that is already choked with traffic), and now we've learned that more houses are going to be built on farmland in the centre of the village. Honestly, I could f-ing cry. I work hard, and all I ask in return is peace and quiet. And what really sickens me is that I know Labour are going to enjoy seeing 'NIMBYs' like me suffer under their rule.

Farage himself has made many racist comments over the years. Like the comment he made a couple of weeks ago about Rishi Sunak not understanding "our culture". He is tolerated.

And Reform's Deputy Leader suggested that we should let people in the boats drown. He is tolerated.

There is a reason why racists are drawn to Farage's party, and you don't need to be very clever to work out what that reason is.

I got Lord Buckethead through doing this 😆

Haha that's brilliant!

Local independent for me this time I think, they have the best policies that will impact day to day here if they get in

None. I oppose the Greens and Lib dems views on women’s rights as they support self ID which reduces womens’s safety, I could not vote for Reform as I disagree with them in so much.

I’d rather spoil my ballot.

It was abundantly clear what Farage was getting at.

Why's that then? Do you struggle with the concept of different opinions to you generally or do you just want to let everyone know how 'concerned' you are?
Noted

They are not a political party, they are a business. That is worrying because the "members" would not be free to express their views or have any say in who their leader is.
I would not vote for any group set up this way even if I shared every single one of their views.

How do you think Reform would tackle immigration?

How do you think Reform would tackle immigration?

According to some of their members, by shooting asylum seekers on the beach.

Actually, I really don't know who they are. At a guess, I suppose people with exclusively Celtic ancestry? The Welsh and the Cornish, maybe? But not totally sure how anyone would go about proving that, I certainly couldn't. In any case, I have lots of Anglo Saxon kicking about in my genes, so I guess I wouldn't count.

As to how we ended up with the likes of Reform and UKIP, I think it's down to poor education personally. People who have been failed by the school system to the extent that they have never been given the tools to think critically and analyse the information that is put in front of them. I presume that, for whatever reason, it suits the establishment to perpetuate that state of ignorance amongst a certain section of the population. It's a shame.

I just googled indigenous people UK and I got a Britain First article about the fact that 2/3 of the population are descended from people who have been here since the last Ice Age. I obviously don't want to link to Britain First but there's a nice line in it
We are the aboriginal peoples of the British Isles and that is a fact, despite the poisonous lies of the liberal-left.

Thankfully though, if 2/3 of the people are indigenous, many of these are accepting of people from other cultures (who have not been here since the Ice Age) and realise that it's just an accident of birth and not anything else and does not make them more deserving of anything than others are.

I wonder if that is acceptable to all those voting for Reform?

GingerPirate · 29/06/2024 17:28

Acapulco12 · 29/06/2024 15:50

Why can’t you go back? And why do you want to vote Reform? They don’t protect the interests of anyone but a small minority of British citizens - if you don’t have British citizenship, they won’t look out for you.

Why can't I go back?
Human obstacles, abusive in my childhood.
Also, I wouldn't choose LibDems or Greens, so who else?
Labour, after being "brought up" in a Communist country? 😁

Again as a PP said, lefties insult the natives and the natives dont like it. If you didnt bite at the simplest things then Trump and Farage wouldnt have the followings they have. Wokery created Trump and Farage and continues to fan their flames.

That's just YOUR form pf cancel culture. 'Don't you DARE to criticize our attitudes; that's wokery and you''re insulting us, and your DARING to express any objections will drive us into the arms of Trump and Farage, so our choosing them is YOUR fault, so SHUT UP!'

Yes, you have the right to your opinions and to vote for whom you choose. But so do other people; so please don't try to threaten us into shutting up.

ToWhitToWhoo · 29/06/2024 17:44

Sookafatwan · 29/06/2024 14:51

The lefties will never understand this. Same as USA. The more indigenous people are ignored, the more they push back.

In the USA, the indigenous people are the Native Americans. Who are not, I believe, the people whom Trump is trying to attract.

In the USA and to a lesser but large extent the UK, the poor are largely ignored, and that is indeed wicked and dangerous. But there are poor people of all ethnicities; it's nothing to do with being indigenous or not.

I’d vote green if they weren’t so bat shit crazy.

They have admitted this week that the levy they would put on energy companies profits will ultimately not be stopped from being passed on to us so they’re out. They will bankrupt us all.

Liberals are just sound bites and no real costed ideas.

I met the reform candidate yesterday. She was canvassing here. She seemed really passionate about local issues. She’s getting my vote as a life long conservative voter. I can not bring myself to vote for my twit of an mp. I have real respect for a candidate that’s willing to stand in the high street in a wool suit and heels in boiling heat to meet the public.

Edit: Just to add. She could tell me what a woman was. Yes I did ask!

Also not that it’s any of anybodies business but I am not white before you liberals call me racist. It’s nuts I have to add that.

Edited

Why do you have to be white to be a racist?

VoteOutToHelpOut · 29/06/2024 18:36

Oh look! A Reform UK PLC candidate being racist and talking about British "natives". Strange how that echoes the language used by some posters on this thread?

The post continued that “rapists murderers terrorists and tomorrow’s groomers of our children can just walk in”, claiming “the natives are the least important” compared to ethnic minorities.

Full details here, if you can stomach it.

She probably struggles with overt racism rather than different opinions.

Yes that would be the one. They're not even trying to disguise it.

CoatRack · 30/06/2024 16:16

BoneChinaPlate · 29/06/2024 16:35

Three more of their candidates just got dropped for making racist comments- one about Africans having a low IQ, one saying black people were 'lazy' and 'savage'. Another candidate was dropped earlier this week when it was revealed he had connections to the BNP. Reform candidates are exposed as racists at a much higher rate than candidates for ant other party. So it seems fair that people are wondering what draws such a high proportion of racists to Reform rather than any other party.

I'd say it's more that the other parties' racists are the correct type i.e. anti-white, so it's not really a problem.

Example: the Labour candidate for Clacton, who hasn't been dropped like the Reform ones were, just moved.

While we're entertaining this ridiculous argument, would you care to tell the class why Labour attracts so many anti-Semites?

This.

I've voted Green in the past when they were concerned about the environment. They are now batshit. I can't vote for them.

Lib Dem for me due to thinking about NHS and carers. I don't agree with everything they say but prefer them to Green or Reform.
