You can't really trust anyone of them to do what they say but......

Out of green, Reform and Liberal who should I vote for and Why?

Deffo don't want to vote labour or conservative, so please only sell the others to me! 😜

Definitely Reform. It's the only sensible choice.

Definitely Reform. It's the only sensible choice if you are a racist, misogynist homophobe without the capacity for intelligent thought.

Fixed that for you.

SoupDragon · 29/06/2024 14:13

I have real respect for a candidate that’s willing to stand in the high street in a wool suit and heels in boiling heat to meet the public.

even though they are a racist, homophobic twat?

VoteLabour · 29/06/2024 14:13

LibDem.

I'd also worry about the common sense of someone who goes canvassing on a hot day wearing a wool suit and heels

CheshireCat1 · 29/06/2024 14:18

If you’re 100% morally bankrupt vote Reform, of you’re not than either of the other two.

Do you really @iamtheblcksheep ?
Because to me it suggests someone with little common sense who has no idea how to even dress themselves for the weather or the activity they are doing. It’s perfectly possible to look professional and capable in cool clothes and flat shoes…

cardibach · 29/06/2024 14:19

Snap @VoteOutToHelpOut ! Excellent cross post situation!

HandsDown84 · 29/06/2024 14:19

I am in genuine disbelief that people take Farage seriously. He is an odious little toad who just loves being on TV. I'm not even sure he's real and not a Harry Enfield-esque persona.

"Take back control of our borders"? I thought his precious Brexit was going to do that? Is he going to build a TrumpWall?

IamaRevenant · 29/06/2024 14:20

Roaringlions · 29/06/2024 14:09

They are very very different

If you have no idea, I would recommend the vote for policies website. They give you the policies anonymised and ask you to choose which you agree with most. They then at the end of the quiz tell you which party this matches most closely.
It helps to remove bias based on party names and thoughts about them which I think is quite interesting and useful.

I got Lord Buckethead through doing this 😆

To be fair, common sense doesn't appear to be a required skill for any politician.

O no not a racist, misogynist homophobe...

Nobody ever ever calls people that nowadays so it must be extremely accurate and not hysterical hyperbole in the slightest.

You've definitely got proof of all three, right?

VoteOutToHelpOut · 29/06/2024 14:21

I also can't understand why people don't see through Farage.

Question for his supporters: why did he suddenly decide to run for Parliament?

HandsDown84 · 29/06/2024 14:22

I'd vote for him over Reform!

Createausername1970 · 29/06/2024 14:22

No political party entirely aligns with my wants or needs, particularly so this time for some reason. They all seem entrenched in their own hell holes.

I went for the independent candidate who has some good points to make about local issues.

ExtraOnions · 29/06/2024 14:22

Instead of asking random people.. read the manifestos, read the material from your local candidate, and then vote for the one that most closely aligns to your personal views.

It’s very very straightforward.

I've always thought he's a bit of an Alan Partridge/ David Brent type figure.

But with a more sinister undertone.

You see. This is where your ignorance shines through. Not white here. I’ll change my name to that so you all get the picture. Maybe I’ll put a badge on my shoulder. Wait a minute. That sounds familiar. Haven’t we done that before?!

Im not homophobic. I literally couldn’t care less who you hold hands with.

I do have an issue with men in dresses being aloud to run around the women’s changing rooms and as we learnt yesterday Keir Starmer is fine with this. If this makes me transphobic fine. My daughters safety is more important than any label you want to put on me.

FeelingHotHotHotFeelingHotHotHot · 29/06/2024 14:25

HAS to be LibDem out of those 3. Not Reform. They are going from bad to worse with each passing day, and are attracting a LOT of racists, bigots, and homophobes!

Can we please not. The post didn't mention A WORD about transphobes.

JammyJellyfish · 29/06/2024 14:26

Farage is the UK version of Trump.

Or will the vote be wasted?

Sookafatwan · 29/06/2024 14:26

TBH, OP, may as well put the 3 names in a hat and just pick one out, the difference it will make.

It was pretty dam cold at 8am yesterday morning when I first drove past her. Anyway the woman hadn’t broken a sweat when I finally nipped in the coop at 3.30 yesterday afternoon. I looked like I’d been dragged through a hedge when I got out of my air conditioned car. She didn’t have a hair out of place.

VoteLabour · 29/06/2024 14:26

@VoteOutToHelpOut , I can't see why they can't see through Farage either.
@HandsDown84 , me too.

@ExtraOnions has exactly the right suggestion. Read the manifestos, read up on the local candidates, and vote for the one that most closely aligns with your views.

I'm voting for the one who I believe will be the best MP for the constituency I'm in, the Labour candidate.

Mischance · 29/06/2024 14:29

God this is depressing - thinking about people who actually have the vote and the power to influence the lives of all of us. People who can't be arsed to look at the manifestos. People who do not understand tactical voting.

This is the danger of "democracy."
