Who do we think is likely to front this programme? At one time I would have said Huw Edwards but he's now out of the picture. I can't see David Dimbleby doing it again given his age, unless he really wants to. I hope it will be Sophie Raworth or Fiona Bruce, someone who's been round the block a few times. I expect the likes of Jeremy Vine, John Curtice and Nick Eardley will be doing their stuff too.

C4 for us for a change as we enjoy The Rest is Politics pod, but we will flick to BBC/sky intermittently too.

I really don't see what people have against Laura K, I think she's great

After a bit of thinking my choice would by Jo Coburn. She very skillfully manages them all in Politics Live.

She’s a Tory mouthpiece

As mentioned earlier, gives the government too easy a ride. The second most corrupt government in UK history, led by a man who stood idly by whilst staff partied during Covid, and who was prepared to dance to the tune of an unelected advisor.

@LlynTegid im doubtful that's the case, I'm sure there are people who think she gives Labour too easy a ride. If you genuinely believe that have you actually complained to the BBC?

I would love to add Kirstie Wark as a presenter and Nick Watt as commentator. They are great.
I like Victoria Derbyshire but I always have a feeling that she is a bit too emotional. I liked her more on Question time than Fiona but for election night I want someone who will coldly vivisect the results. I’ll provide the emotions myself.

I rather like the idea of Alan Sugar doing it.

My adult children as coming home especially for the demise of the Tories. Last time they were in the audience for the C4 show, but I thought it was a bit rubbish in 2019. This year's lineup looks much better so we will probably mainly watch that and go back to the BBC during the ad breaks.

We’re planning to stay up with a takeaway and some champagne. What sort of time will we basically know who has won?

Interesting. Even my few remaining Tory friends think she's a Tory.

I'm going to be flipping between channel 4 & Sky all night, BBC will be awful to watch.
