I don't know what the ipad 3 will do. I don't know how it will affect my life. I don't know what it costs or whether it's value for money or even what it looks like.

I just know I am definitely going to get one.

I'm a total sucker, aren't I?

retina display is a fancy way of saying that the image is really really clear and bright.
The all becoming apparent thing. Yes, I tried someone elses and found the portability and the instant switch on to be so useful. Very light to hold when you are reading in bed and stuff.

My pattern seems to be that I can resist Apple until the third generation - I kind of vaguely wanted an iPhone until the 3GS was released and then I had to have one IMMEDIATELY. Well, not queueing up outside a store immediately, in fact not even pre-ordering immediately, but pretty damn quickly.

I now feel the same about an iPad. Rather annoyingly, DH is in the US at the moment - if it were a week later I'd be telling him not to come back until he'd bought me one, but I don't think I can make him stay out there an extra week.

And I don't know which model I want either.

The iPad 2 I bought yesterday is a present for tomorrow, so I can't return it and hope for a big discount in a couple of weeks.

I went for the 64gb WiFi version. I don't need 3G as I can create a personal hotspot with my iPhone 4S.

In October 2010 I had no apple products. I now have an iPad, 2 iPhones a MacBook Air and now an iPad 3 on order. I am ashamed of myself.
