I am a marketing man's dream. I want a IPAD 3 and I want one very badly

I don't know what the ipad 3 will do. I don't know how it will affect my life. I don't know what it costs or whether it's value for money or even what it looks like.

I just know I am definitely going to get one.

I'm a total sucker, aren't I?

I'm going to get mine from John Lewis as they do a really good guarantee and let's face it my two year old will crack the screen in the first week

Another one waiting here! I have the original iPad and couldn't really justify getting the iPad 2 as mine worked just fine it still does but I have waited long enough

If anyone asks about the iPad and what I think of it I get into a 20 min speech about how fantastic it is, I obviously need to get out more!

really really thinking about it. I'm going to be having minor surgery soon that will be keeping me at home for a few days. plus i'm having to rest lots and lots at the moment. For the first time in many years I do have money I've earnt myself that isnt specifically earmarked for anything. But if I buy one I will feel guilty, because its not an essential.

Go for it! I got the biggest memory I could. As it is mine but kids apps, photos and music...and it's 3/4 full! I only got wifi and not 3G as its more for in the house than out and about

There are cheaper and better covers on the market. Mine just broke actually. But it's like a smart cover but with a back bit too so the whole iPad is protected. But it does all a smart cover does too and was only£20

Oh gosh. Just went and ordered one on the basis of the email I got from Apple. So yes, I think it is safe to say that I am most definitely a marketing man's dream! Grin am ridiculously excited

I wouldn't engrave it for selling it down the line. Get screen protectors. I got one in my local pound shopGrin. That's all you need. And iTunes...

been able to order one now - to be despatched by Mar 19th. If I'd not dithered it would have been on the 16th. silly me.

For me, the fact that it has the retina display was the selling point. That's why I didn't bother upgrading to the iPad2.

It's very easy to accidentally order this kin of thing - I just had to accidentally click a few buttons, accidentally log into my appleID and accidentally put in the security number for my credit card... a mistake anyone could make Blush

Thankfully my parents then sad they had £500 to give me. Whoohoo!

tis def a mistake anyone could make. I'm kicking myself for not having accidentally ordered it early. But on the positive side, the fact that I burst into tears as soon as I realised it wasnt in my basket anymore - shows that I reallyreally do want one - so I dont need to question myself on that front!
