To continue into Spring 2022.

Unfortunately, I am not sure how many pictures I will be able to supply this year . Some builders are in building an extension for me .
I might have to live off all your lovely photos. Keep them coming!💐

@BooseysMom
He's adorable, ribbit, ribbit🐸
My cousin in North Carolina has had a pond with frogs for years...it gets quite cold there...his frogs either hibernate in the pond or nearby in a pile of leaves.
@MissConductUS your tree frogs are adorable, too...that last one looks like he's been quite helpful eradicating pesky insects

Sweetpea1532 · 09/09/2022 16:10

Poor squirrels thought they'd found nirvana when they saw some passionfruit on the drive...I found several fruit with the outer parts chewed away...but the seeds were still there inside....I had to laugh when I pictured those pesky squirrels chewing away with their squirrely little teeth only to find tart seeds once they got them open.Grin

Thanks! 😊We have a new garden and the pond has only been in for a year. I'm not sure that there are enough places for froggy to hide but I hope he stays

Well, my passionfruit crop has been harvested ...about half of it, anyway.
I have a 'courgette situation' going on here...tonnes of Pf !
Every time I go outside another 5 have fallen off the vine...they are everywhere..at least 300 so far.....my neighbour's are hiding when they see me now...they're afraid I'm going to share some more of our bountiful crop with them Grin

Anybody need some passionfruit? I'll be glad to post them a few or 20Grin

Please excuse my apostrophe in neighbours.Blush

Robin233 · 18/09/2022 08:07

Wow @Sweetpea1532
Mine are still green -

Sweetpea1532 · 18/09/2022 11:58

@Robin233 It won't be long until they turn purple if they are green and are the right size ...it almost happens overnight 😃.
This year has really been great for growing pf...My Ds friend got married this weekend and prepared enough pf juice ( from his own vines) for 150 people to have signature cocktail...that's a tonne of passionfruit!Confused...it must be true love.Grin It takes about 20 to make enough for one cup since you remove the seeds.
Fingers crossed for yours! Wine<< supposed to be orange

I went a bit mad in the garden today and chopped back my clematis Montana to about a foot off the ground 😬 it was taking over and plants were struggling to grow under its canopy!

The garden looks naked now 😂

Here are three pots of my dendrobium speciosum, AKA rock lilies in bloom. Never been better. For scale, the pots are huge and need a trolley to move them.
I've discovered that what they need is shade in summer and be put in the sun on the first day of autumn, no other care bar occasional watering needed.
