@AnneKipankitoo
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

All those squirrel emojis gave me agita! There had to be an entire army of them just like that to do the damage they did in such speedy fashion AngryAngry

..oh my AK...that gif is so spot on perfect for my DH, like you said...😂😂😂😂😂😂...I couldn't work out why he wasn't more upset that his favourite palm tree was destroyed...now I know! That darn squirrel knew just how to get out of trouble by waving Old Glory at DH who is extremely Patriotic.... (as you've all witnessed from the photos of our 5 x 8 foot American flag flying from our 20 foot flagpole in our front garden Grin)
Thank you for the laugh...I needed it greatly😂
More to follow on SPs squirrelly adventure.

@beautyisfoundwithin

As always, your beautiful colour doesn't disappoint...the flower colours are so rich...I am still holding on to my belief that you have a magical green thumbFlowers
Your mention of lifting gravel and such in your garden reminded me of the time long ago when I was sitting next to a young man at a seminar...I had on a sleeveless top ...he commented on how impressed he was that I worked out since my biceps were bulging a bit...I laughed and said, "Yes, I do work out....in my garden!"Grin

Thank you for thinking of us on your trip...all gorgeous..what is that strange one with the orange and pink? Looks interesting![/quote]
I believe it is a type of heather - I spotted it on Lundy Island which is 2 hours off the coast of North Devon.

@ImprobablePuffin
Wow, sounds like a picturesque place to visit...thanks again for sharing Flowers

beautyisfoundwithin · 01/10/2021 09:47

Lovely photos @ImprobablePuffin, thanks for sharing 😊

Oh dear @Sweetpea1532, not more trouble from those pesky squirrels! I'm sorry you've had a traumatic time with them, yet again, if only your plants weren't so delicious 😋 Great story, I'm also impressed by your bulging biceps (I haven't seen them myself of course, but I believe the young man was telling the truth!) I'm always a bit affronted when people assume DH does all of the hard work and heavy lifting in the garden, don't get me wrong he is very helpful, but I'm very strong minded (and stubborn Blush) and I do most of it myself!

beautyisfoundwithin · 01/10/2021 09:57

I've just been to Lidl and somehow 2 packs of these Tulips ended up in my trolley 😆 I just couldn't resist the colours!

Lovely colour combination Beauty very Sarah Ravenesque I may have to have a trip to Lidls this weekend 😂

Robin233 · 01/10/2021 19:09

I've got a shed load of bulbs ti go in - tulips, daffodils, crocuses and snow drops.
I'm waiting for Busy Lizzies to be over so I can get my bulbs in but they just keep going.

I've never seen a double centre before. I am new to growing roses though.

@beautyisfoundwithin
My DH has a bit of a dodgy back, so I've always done all the garden work...being an old lady now, it's gotten more difficult...I can no longer balance of the edge of our huge slopes like I used to..hence me tipping over when I was helping my nephew dig a hole..(didn't really need help, but he insisted) Because there were 2 of us in close quarters when I tipped over, I fell partially on top of him .... I had my gardening dress on...never jumped up so fast in my life!
Looking forward to your tulips 🌷

Sweetpea1532 · 01/10/2021 22:08

@Robin233
I love the colour combination of your B.L. we call them 'impatiens ' here...I shall start calling them busy lizzies too...I've never liked them being called impatiens.
@CoffeeBeansGalore
Your double rose is so lovely...I'd never seen the doubles before either.

userxx · 02/10/2021 09:47

@Robin233 Brilliant! I wondered what the flowers were in the hanging basket I'd bought. Busy Lizzie!

Robin233 · 02/10/2021 10:04

Thanks @Sweetpea1532
Here a pic of my other Busy Lizzie taken back in July.
They are now really past their best and I can justify digging them up.
With their 4 empty pot I will fill with fresh compost and await the delivery of my new plants -
