So many gorgeous butterflies there beauty!
I've had a peacock butterfly visit the garden this morning, as soon as I grabbed my phone for a pic it flew away 🙈 so I offer a hydrangea instead.

Raptor them roses look almost fake they're that perfect !! Especially love the colour of the peach one 😍

Anne that's a pretty little hanging basket holder? I love a hanging basket display, however i have given up on keeping them myself as I can't seem to keep the plants in them alive 🤔

Sharing some of my favourite Sweet Peas in the garden at the moment (I know I post too many Sweet Peas!! 😂)

I love seeing the sweet peas @beautyisfoundwithin I don't plant them often as I'm not generally regular enough at watering them so they're normally brown and crispy by this point

@beautyisfoundwithin, the sweet peas are beautiful. Does anyone know, if sowing the seeds in toilet rolls, how you keep them tidy and upright, and do you cover the bottom of each roll somehow or not? I have ordered some root trainers but want to sow a few more just in case.

@DDemelza I sow extra ones in toilet rolls too. I have a couple of old roasting tins that were no good for cooking anymore and needed throwing away so I kept them for the garden. They're useful to keep the toilet rolls standing upright neatly. I don't cover the bottoms at all.

Ooo Imight try sweet peas next year they are lovely.

The sweet peas are gorgeous Beauty love the deep colours..never had any luck with them always got eaten as seedlings or if did survive go brown and didn't flower 🤔

Am madly watering the garden as it's so hot and if I don't keep up with it things starting to wilt, roping in my toddler to help!

Humble flowers: a poppy peeping out through a rosebush, and some flowers on a squash plant snaking over the "lawn."

Urgh Sainsburys have pots of plantable lilies, in bloom, for £2 - £5. Another resolution out the window.😬 Only bought two pots, though!

Today I have a rose with a gorgeous scent but no idea what it is (cheap job from supermarket a couple of years ago), a delphinium and some verbena

My sedum is starting to show its pink stars, marigold that has escaped the slugs and Aldi dahlias going strong 💪

This thread is an oasis, I doubt I'd visit MN at all without it.

My offerings for today! A frog, a dog (okay not a garden pic as such but we were in woodland nearby and you can never have too many photos of dogs) and the courgette that time forgot 🤣🤣. Even though I check them every day, we always seem to end up with a few marrows 🙈
