Yes , @AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet . I have the trough with impatiens again. However, I found it difficult getting them and only managed to get some from Tesco.
They look a bit sparse at the moment.
Once they look better I will take a picture.
Regarding the sawfly @catwithflowers , I was not spraying them . That helps . Also picking the larvae off helps.

Oh dear oh dear I went to a garden centre today and had to do a lot of rearranging when I got home!

I think it was quite a few years before the sawfly became really troublesome. I had not realised what they were.

Cat that's a fab discovery!! I'm itching to visit our local garden centre but I need to find some space in the garden first haha the colour of that rose !! I have rose envy for sure !!

I tried to get impatiens at the garden centre and online but had no luck .

I love your marigolds DDemelza I bought a single colour which I regret after seeing glimpses of bright containers in people’s gardens.

And I admire a shelf of doom resurrection.

Lovely sweetpeas, ours are doing well this year too. I was given a free overgrown pot of yellowing seedlings from the reopened local garden centre. Having nowhere to put them I bunged some chickenwire up the north side of the shed, cleared a bit of lawn away and crossed myfingers. I am getting a decent bunch every day.

Some much needed rain at last. Ventured out to see how the roses faired, pretty ok thank goodness.

cat I think your rose is supposed to have a great fragrance, I quite fancy that one as I do Always' Tranquility. And then Badly offers another beautiful rose.
Phineas I only recognised the dahlia the other 2 flowers are new to me and lovely.

Anne I like your cheery bright pots very much and I'm positively jealous of the trough. Impatiens get the lurg here.
