All gorgeous 🌸

Lupins, wildflowers & my newest rose. @crazzycat I bought it after falling in love with your picture here, and having read your very convincing post on another thread Smile
Although I'm cringing so hard about the fact that I said I wouldn't go to a garden centre again until autumn 🙈
I will treasure it and love it Smile

Btw, Your peony bud is even more impressive/successful than mine. Mine is 5 years planted, and a tragedy Blush I think they are very tricky.

I love this thread
About four years ago I purchased a bare root rose from Aldi. It was 1.99. Label said floribunda, think it was blue moon. Stuck it in front garden. This is it four years later Grin

I really love it. But it's a pale pink wild rose. I presume the rose the floribunda was grafted onto perhaps. Anyway it's lovely. Very cottage garden

apricotdreams · 27/05/2020 10:47

I am also very happy with my peony this year. Been in ground about ten years. First time with so many buds. You certainly need a lot of patience!

Two of my petunias and one of the cheeky honeysuckle that grew through the hedge into my tree 😊

@apricotdreams , have you seen the first thread ?

@apricotdreams That is amazing (both are)
I live in hope for my Peonies 🤞
Here's some I planted recently. I followed the instructions and advice from a peony enthusiast on Gardeners' world. I guess I can wait 10 years 😑

Lovely petunias and honeysuckle Smile

My yellow rose bloomed today.

Don’t apologise for the poppies Oldraver! I’m finding the poppy pictures quite inspirational

That’s a lovely rose apricotdreams 😮 Looks like an excellent Aldi buy to me!

And yay for Scepter’d Isle @AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet ! I hope you’ll end up loving it as much as I do. I visited the David Austin rose garden a few years ago and it was interesting how, in spite of all roses being lovely of course, there were only a few that really jumped out at me. Scepter’d Isle was one of those. It has such a gorgeous delicate look about it 😍

And just in case you’re worried, they might look delicate, but the flowers survived the storm we had here earlier this week. Looks are deceiving

beautyisfoundwithin · 27/05/2020 15:32

Amazing roses 🌹

I have a Peony bud just beginning to open.

Also an orange Poppy, nowhere near as impressive as @Oldraver's though.

Can any of you lovely gardeners offer some advice, my honeysuckle is covered in greenfly, I have hosed it down best I can and sprayed with washing up liquid and water mix, can anyone suggest anything else that's organic?

popgoesperfection · 28/05/2020 10:44

Forgot to add my flower pictures, pretty geraniums and I don't know what the white one is.

Could be ceanothus @Henio . Photo is a bit blurry for the plant.
