Of our gardens, plants and flowers?

Here are some of my current blooms from around my garden; Cistus, Hydrangea and Mallows, all pink Smile

(I think mumsnet only allow 3 uploads)?

My summerhouse
My mum bought me this knome stall. I am far too old to want to sit on a stall but it makes a cute plant stand.

Wow Shock

I know I shouldn't wish time away, but I keep imagining what some of those look like in autumn

Only just got into gardening as we've been renovating a property but really pleased with my first year efforts 😊

Wow I've got garden envy! I love the before and after pics Smile

I'm completely new to gardening and have been learning with the help of google and mumsnet! I won't post pics of my back garden because I've not managed to get it under control yet. So I'll put some of my front garden up instead....

I went outside to take a few pics and this dragonfly had just emerged from the pond! It flew off about 5 minutes later. There's a nymph(?) under the leaf to its right. I was in awe.
The nicotiana in the pots are doing really well - much better than in my v dry soil.

All the gardens and plants in this thread are just lovely. We spent the last 2 weekends visiting local open gardens. It was great being nosey and the gardens-and their owners- were fab!

Some absolutely lovely gardens there.

Ahem, where are your fences and washing lines! I got a Brabantia wall mounted drier so I wouldn't have to look at the washing down the garden! It folds back to nothing. Well I have two, each on either side of the patio, so handy.

Great inspiration from your pics. Thanks for sharing.

I am enjoying seeing other gardens. My pond is my favourite place. It had some mature plans that previous owner had put in but I had to lift them all out to mend a leak and DH put the clumps into green bin so I had to start again.

Thanks Nemesia Smile
The dragonfly was a lucky chance. There are newts and frogs in there too but no room for fish.

I am shamelessly placemarking on this thread having just inherited a very very overgrown garden from our new houses previous owners. It's pretty sad actually, you can tell it would have been really lovely in it's heyday, lots of mature roses, peonies, lavender, meadow flowers in the shaded bits.

But basically every plant is riddled with disease/pests and the privet at the back (which had grown like trees) are full of rot and had to be cut down.

There was all kinds of crap dumped in it, asbestos and broken glass.

We've cleared loads of it now but I'm looking for inspiration!

I planted a clematis a few years ago, this year it's finally grown a decent amount and flowered (Thank you Sun and rain!). All the flowers were single flowers, then somehow this beauty opened up and it's so different to the rest! Hoping for more like it next year Grin

Here's my teeny-tiny patio garden. Bit chaotic but I love it. We live in a tiny flat so our garden really is an "extra" room at this time of year & I spend far more time sitting out there rather than lurking indoors. Love this thread, a joy bringer!

My end of June back garden (from my kitchen window) and entrance area (pots full of hostas). And a pic tree of the entrance pots in May, when the tulips were still colourful.

I take a picture every month to see how the garden changes.
