I just had a quick look around the garden. I don't know the name of this plant, but it's always covered in butterflies.

The yellow roses are beautiful, but I think the leaves have black spot Sad

This is my phlox but it is on its way out . Old , root bound ...
It has not had TLC as it was supposed to be removed in some building works .

We've just ripped out a load of old shrubs and I'm preparing a bed for planting. Have started buying shrubs and plants with the intention of having a white flower bed. Will post pics once they are in 😁

BestIsWest · 09/09/2019 20:54

Gorgeous dahlia. (Not mine, sadly).

Oh lovely and calming and cool @ cornstarch . Have you been to Sissinghurst White Garden ?

cornstarch · 10/09/2019 07:44

I've read about it Smile. Hope I can maintain the discipline to stick to the colour scheme Smile

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 10/09/2019 15:01

I’m so proud of my new climbing rose, I took a photo to show you all!

Well I got half the bed planted. It's a bit sparse but made a start. White hydrangea, white rhododendron, white Japanese anenome. Rock roses, thyme, cyclamen and some silver leafed things Smile

Great choices, it will look amazing. It will spread out, in time

Here are my flowers today, and 'my' hedgehog last night ❤️

The photos don't upload in order of how I selected them - I wanted him to be in the middle picture
*emails MN to complain Wink

Thank you! I have hedgehog envy 😞

AnneKipanki · 11/09/2019 18:41

Very nice @AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet. Good work @cornstarch.
I could not find my hedgehog photo. It was not a good one anyway. It was hiding in my outbuilding under the snow shovel.

AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 11/09/2019 19:40

They're special little creatures Smile
