This relates to a boarding school thread earlier, and Mrs Chips and I were disagreeing about many things.

Blimey here is a blast from the past.

I remember the boarding school thread.

I disagree about a lot of things. Sorry!

Yes I know this is an old thread... however.... IMO , I think its far worse to pop out kids u cannot afford to keep, and expect the taxpayer to foot the bill, than it is for people in the military to have a child they may have to leave now and then for a few months!!! At least people in the military are providing for their children themselves!! Poor kids huh??? They get to travel the world and see / experience amazing things that most adults could only dream of. But... on the downside, they do get upset when their mum or dad have to leave without them. I am a SAHM , DH is in the army... that's our choice. There are single mothers out there who HAVE to work 7 days a week to provide for their kids. They didn't intend for it to be that way initially but that's how it pans out for them. The ones who never worked a day in their lives though and pop out kids like smarties... and partners can't be assed working.... well... they are the ones who.piss me off. If u can't feed 'em.... don't breed 'em!
