Who is the most annoying tv cook/chef?

I'm convinced it's Sophie Dahl.

I'm currently suffering sitting through an episode of her show and I already want to ram a kitchen implement somewhere that will be painful and unpleasant for her.

She talks the biggest load of waffle ever. And if she mentions her holiday in Martha's Vineyard once more I'm going to hurl myself or possibly just the tv out of the nearest window.

however, i love Jamie and the Hairy bikers becuase their recipes are always yum, i have a girl-crush on nigella and would marry james martin tomorrow (yorkshire lass here)

Also have a soft spot for simon rimmer but wish he would tie lovejoy up and force feed him corriander.

Lisa Faulkner is emerging as quite a good 'chef' shes a nice normal lass

t'old keith floyd is a legend, we have a similar attitude to cooking - step one, pour glass of wine!

Rick stein, or other wise known by the clan down under as Dick Stein. He is always harping on about the loss of Britishness, hoe English food is being overtaken, as is England by Johnny Foreigner. On one particular programme he went on to extoll the loss of Englishness and it infuriated him, yet a lot of his employees, are Aussies, Kiwis, and in the same breath he goes on about coking a Indian curry! The most contrite and hypocritical chef ever. A total well I wont say on mums net, being it was this orifice that led to pregnancy. Having had the misfortune to visit his restaurant in Padstien, the first thing I saw was Singapore Crab and several Indian dishes, along with an Indian girl who wanted fish and chips. The food was the worst I have tasted and nearly at £50 per head.

Rick Stein for sure. I saw him in one of his shows, go on about the loss of Englishness and how England was awash with foreign food when we the English had such good food "it made him so cross" he went on to say. He got quite vocal about it and very passionate, I was moved about his passion however he then goes on to say within the next few seconds he is going to cook an Indian Curry! So many of his dishes are Asian and having been to visit his restaurant his vast majority of dishes are Asian and they are a very poor execution of the them! The Singapore crab being one of the worst dishes I have had the misfortune to try! Wherever he goes he has a pencil and paper and states he cant believe the ease Indians in particular, give up their recipes when they should be regarded as secret, and then he says foreign food is taking over! I think the inhabitants of Padstien would know the feeling with him owning so much of the town!
