Just marking my spot for next week's Ocado shop....

We like the beef meatballs, as well as the pork.

Clarissimo · 29/03/2010 22:56

Maybe the cupcakes are branch dependent? ours are lovely and normally am home baker so have high standards

hairymelons · 29/03/2010 22:56

Salt, vinegar & lemon crisps. A whole bag will make your mouth hurt but in a nice way.

The lamb moussaka is really, really good.

God I'm so jealous, haven't shopped at Waitrose since we moved 3 years ago.

Cadelaide · 29/03/2010 22:57

OMG, the bottom butter, how could I forget?

Hairymelons, Ocado!!

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 30/03/2010 00:10

the ocado thread for all that can't get a waitrose delivery. They have put a discount code on here, 15% off your first order.

hairymelons · 30/03/2010 00:18

Ocado, round these parts? You're kidding! I thought they didn't go north of Cheshire.

Crisp-induced ulcers here we come Thanks LLW.

And thanks for the code, Belle. Can feel less guilty about spending the child allowance too much money on the shopping.

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 30/03/2010 00:21

Well, if you think about it, you throw less stuff away as some other supermarkets (tesco) deliver food really close to its sell by date (tesco) so you either have to eat it really quickly (tesco) or throw it away (tesco). The chickens from some supermarkets (tesco) are pumped with water to make them appear bigger (tesco) so you need to buy more, you will actually spend less with other retailers as their chickens don't contain water.

Go belle go belle

Forgot the Sicilian lemon sorbet. Divine!

boogeek · 30/03/2010 09:27

Second (third?) duchy treacle tart. Very interested in white choc icecream, which we used to get weekly occasionally (from Ocado) but haven't been able to find recently.

CasaBevron · 30/03/2010 09:40

Peppery oatcakes.

Caramelised onion pizza with balsamic dressing - save some of the dressing and use it to drizzle on peppers or sweet potato and roast in the oven, then stir in crumbled feta while still warm. Delish! Actually, does anyone know if they do the dressing separately? Would buy it buy the bucketload if they do [greedy]

Boring, but the essentials sensitive skin washing-up gloves are the best I've used. Really thick and last ages.

Cheese cheese and more cheese

Whoamireally · 30/03/2010 10:15

Oh and yes - the pizzas are really v good. I got asked to take part in a Waitrose pizza focus group once, but when they found out I didn't live in London they weren't interested any more

HinnyPet · 30/03/2010 10:29

birdsandblossoms · 30/03/2010 12:49

Chil1234 · 30/03/2010 14:13

They're the only place I've found that sells a mixture of brown, wild and red camargue rice. Cooks in just 25 minutes, looks lovely on the plate and tastes excellent.

Plink · 30/03/2010 14:14

Their pancetta is the best.

chicaguapa · 30/03/2010 14:40

I second the brown, wild and red camargue rice. Very very tasty.

UptoapointLordCopper · 30/03/2010 14:45
