In this warm balmy weather I need some inspiration!

Tonight we are having roast chicken, salad and pitta breads with coleslaw and cous cous.

I have made a jelly with red berries in it for pud.

How about you?

It is bucketing down with rain here....

But am still having stuffed vine leaves followed by a smoked bacon and avocado salad.

claireybee · 23/06/2009 17:21

We are having chilli con carne. Made with the leftovers of a roasting joint of beef that we did on the bbq-it was bloody delicious and I'm hoping the smokey taste will enhance the chilli.

FAQinglovely · 23/06/2009 17:26

was going to be home made potatoe wedges, salad and omelettes, but I'm knackered and DH has just handed me £11 to pop down the chippy and buy dinner (I have been ver busy today so am justifiably tired)

Lulumama · 23/06/2009 17:28

BBQd some sausages for the children, who had them with peas and jersey royal potatoes.

Dds have just had veggie sausages, yorkshire puds and vege. They had to eat early as dd1 is at a concert tonight; usually we eat together. Dp and I will eat later - no idea what.

Cies · 23/06/2009 18:04

We're having vegetable and lentil lasagne. With delicious in season apricots for pudding.

BonsoirAnna · 23/06/2009 18:04

Veal escalopes.
Green beans.
White rice.

Cherries.

DP is still on a diet

timmette · 23/06/2009 18:39

Honey Chicken with Peppers
Green Beans
White Rice

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 23/06/2009 18:56

Chicken kiev with chips and a salad

Strawberries

DS had chicken and pasta with green beans

I am really struggling for inspiration now it's warm. DH and I would normally have lots of things marinated and grilled with new pots and salad, but none of the marinades are really suitable for DS (11 mo).
I had forgetten about couscous and roasted veg. DS would like that and I could just grill him some plain chicken.

Mintyy · 23/06/2009 18:59

Waitrose salmon and dill fishcakes and salad.

notsoteenagemum · 23/06/2009 19:13

CakeForBreakfast · 23/06/2009 19:37

We had, eggy, veggy fried rice, with chicken stir fried with bamboo shoots and basil.

Cherries for pud for me and dd, icecream with homegrown strawbs for dh.

StirlingTheStrong · 23/06/2009 21:14
