In this warm balmy weather I need some inspiration!

Tonight we are having roast chicken, salad and pitta breads with coleslaw and cous cous.

I have made a jelly with red berries in it for pud.

How about you?

Fairly lazy dinner tonight - we had spanish chicken (Tesco light choices jar), rice with some veg in chicken stock, and fresh steamed green beans.

ByTheSea · 23/06/2009 21:35

And I spend a lot more than £50/week on food as well. All my dc have extremely hearty appetites.

MaybeAfterBreakfast · 23/06/2009 21:36

Dcs had pasta with pesto, cheesecake, raspberries.

I had lamb curry, rice, naan bread. Dh will have the same when he gets in.

Slow roast pork belly on an onion base, with marsala and apple gravy, roast potatoes and sweet potatoes in goose fat, broad beans and a rocket side salad.

Then Sainsbury's raspberry trifle

It is really hot here, but I'm making meat stock, so there'll be "pastina in brodo" for the children and I can make meatballs with the meat.
