i just thought that you and abetadad were being a bit of a bummer, tbh, someguy.
it seemed important to both of you to point out that all of us had probably fed our children worse etc etc... when all we were doing was Having A Laugh about a revolting-looking item, that's all. we weren't signing up to the whole food movement, we weren't becoming vegans, nor were we claiming to be the first people ever to see a chicken in a can or pork brains in milk... we were just Having A Giggle.
it is not untypical ime of men to want to correct women, to point out FACTS as if we're silly and don't know our giblets from our elbows, and it's a pain in the arse tbh.
there has recently been something of a debate about moldies etc, i don't know if you saw it. one of the complaints was that some of them had a habit of saying 'done this before' and people found this rude and superior on MN.
