MONKFISH HOW TO.....COOK PLEASE

halo,,, please could someone tell me how to cook monkfish ,and how long for...am trying to give the family more fish ,,and had heard its nice so ...please help thank you ,,,

AAA - I did monkfish for the first time last week. You have to fillet it first but that was easier than I expected. I had no idea how to cook it but had a few odds and sods to use up in the fridge so wrapped it in some bacon, chucked in a few cherry tomatoes that were going soft and loads of black pepper, little bit of olive oil. Wrapped in greaseproof paper then baked for about 25m at 180. Divine.

Actually Almost - very fancy dinner for a Monday - mine will be the same old same old - Bolognese - BORING

mishmash dh moaned ,,mum was in hospital last week and we had junk food so am trying to be domestic goddess!!lol also trying the you are what you eat book,,and swa the fish in teco looked nice so here we are

oh by the way mum does not live here and cook for us lol...i meant because i was visiting her i lost my domesstic goddess halo!

So you gotta do it like Nigella - cook it perfectly and look sexy at the same time

yep !!lolshe makes me feel sick though,,my old home ec teacher would have had a fit ..hair not tied back and nailvarnish lol

yes it was lovely!,,,,cooked it in foil very nice,,every body liked it including my 7 year old so great! then i put some blackberries bluoeberries banana pineapple and apple in a dry friing pan an heated them [dont need oil or anything as juice of fruit stops it sticking] then drizzled little orange blossom honey on and sesame seeds serve with yoghurt,,,,,,,,,,,,,feels like your having something really deccadent but your not yummy!! smells nice too.

Ooooo that sounds nice. Glad you enjoyed it I'll have to try that pud especially being low fat.

it was really odd..all you have is a pile of fruit no fats or oils.......sesame seeds and a drizzle of hunny yummy it just seems like your having something very naughty lol ,,,hot pineapple is so yummy !!
