Sorry - today was roast chicken with roast potatoes, honey roast parsnips, kale, sprouts and gravy followed by choice of clementine cake or banana loaf with custard.

Tomorrow will probably utilise the left over chicken but will not have potatoes because we have none left. Might be a chicken/couscous dish.

bigTillyMint · 30/11/2008 19:06

We had left-over chilli from our party last night

We will be having it tomorrow too

subtlemouse · 30/11/2008 19:07

Another roast chicken here...

Leftovers will be turned into 'stoved chicken' which is sliced potatoes and onions layered up with the chicken in the middle, stock (marigold for choice here) and baked in the oven for about an hour.

janeite · 30/11/2008 19:09

We had raclette - boiled potatoes topped with melted smoked cheese and served with griddled vege, pickles etc - it was delicious.

Tomorrow we're having either lentil dahl or pasta, depending on how late I get back from a stupid course that I don't want to go on!

Hulababy · 30/11/2008 19:11

Nothing. DH has just made DD some soft boiled eggs and soldiers, and he made poached eggs on toast for me and him.

We ate out this lunchtime and had lunch at the restaurant at Chatsworth house. Was lovely.

Tomorrow? Not sure. Possibly salmon, jacket potatoes and salad.

KarisTiasMum · 30/11/2008 19:12

lets not underestimate the roast chicken ladies! i may be blowing my own trumpet but... ours was (as ever) truely delightful!! lol

I love sundays!

Chatsworth House? How lovely. Am jealous! We used to paddle in the river there as children - after walking seven miles or so to get there - and then walking back again after buying a treat from the farm shop! All totally unacompanied by adults too - how times have changed.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 30/11/2008 19:16

The DC had bollock and roast pepper fish cakes, homemade chips, peas and green beans.

I'm ordering my favourite takeaway in a minute. Oyakadon with brown rice and spicy vegetable soup, then a glass of wine.

Tomorrow I'm planning mini toad in the hole with onion chutney, mash ,and broccoli

mumhadenough · 30/11/2008 19:19

I've been a really lazy hound tonight after shampooing carpets all day. We had home made chicken noodle soup that i had in the freezer and cold ham and egg mayo sarnies. It was lovely!

Tomorrow, we're having what we should have had today, which is lamb gigot chops, baby boiled potatoes and green beans.

Othersideofthechannel · 30/11/2008 19:21

We had baked beans, toast and left over pizza.
Followed by pineapple upside down pudding and custard (left over from lunch)
