What'cha doin' for tea tonight peeps? I'm fed up with choosing what to have, spending ages preparing stuff only to find I throw it all away as dds don't like it.

it'll be either macdonalds, pizza, or chicken. its dd1 birthday and she gets to choose where we eat after bowling.

woodpops · 08/03/2005 13:24

You're all welcome. DH wilkl only have a mardy anyway cause he'll want the pie with chips and beans.

handlemecarefully · 08/03/2005 13:26

Ummm - well I will probably just offer dd (2.7) toast and jam plus a yoghurt since she has had a full lunch at Nursery, and the same for baby ds (11 months).

If I was giving them a main meal however the staples are:

*chicken korma and rice with peas (just patak's chicken korma sauce with chicken thrown in - surprisingly edible)

*cheese, bacon and mixed veg omelette

*pasta in shop bought pasta sauce (usually tomato and sweet pepper) with ham and mixed veg thrown in

*sausage and pea rissotto (a very quick recipe from an Ainsley Harriott cook book)

*savory mince and potatoes

Bozza · 08/03/2005 13:26

I call it stew as well as long as its beef. If its sausage or chicken or pork its casserole. One of our real winter favourites is stew.

handlemecarefully · 08/03/2005 13:27

There is a suspiscious amount of home cooking on here in my humble opinion!

Bozza · 08/03/2005 13:28

woodpops that sounds lovely. My DH (and the kids) would love it.
