Gusto boxes

Just started the gusto boxes. Would anyone like to swap recipe choices? / hints?

I’m cooking the prawn farfalle today - about to serve it for lunch but baffled the online recipe and physical recipe card don’t match. One says rocket one says pea shoots - I assume that’s a sub but weird that it’s the physical version that’s correct!

Has anyone else made this one? Or have any tips on choosing gusto meals?

I had the lighter prawn linguine tonight. Was v nice but I added extra linguine because it didn’t look enough to fill up my husband so bang goes the lighter bit!

We've had the fish, tomato and chilli spaghetti, which DD turned her nose up at but then liked; and the chicken and njuda cheesy one-pot meal, which was also a hit. We have a cheese and mustard pie and loaded sweet potatoes to come.

Also Hellofresh came to my door last night!

I've got a delivery due sunday - mushroom stroganoff, paneer makhani, meat free sausage & mash & carrot & coriander soup - i decided against the aubergine sandwich!

Sounds nice.
That aubergine sandwich did look quite tempting.

We are having chicken biryani this evening. I will start chopping soon!

Last Gousto meal tonight. We had the cheesy mushroom risotto last night which was quite nice but didn’t really wow me. Tonight is the Korean Buldak chicken with cheese.

The Korean Buldak chicken was amazing! Definitely my favourite of the 4 meals I had this week.

This week we are getting prawn Korean soup , cauli dansak, fish and chips and the Dijon salmon

The Korean prawn soup was lovely. We have enjoyed both our Korean meals and have one more coming next week (the Korean pork stir fry) even though I had considered having a week off!

I was going to take a week off but the menu for the w/c 10th was too good!
I'm really loving them, now if only i couls persuade toddler ds to try them!

I had every intention of taking next week off too, however we enjoyed the Korean meal so much that we decided to order another next week as I think it’s the last week the Korean meals are being offered. We have also gone for the crispy sweet chilli chicken with salt & pepper chips, the beef enchiladas and the creamy chicken makhani.

I've passed my subscription, there's not a great selection of vegetarian meals lately.

If anyone's interested I did get emailed a 20% off voucher to entice me back, about 5 days after cancelling.

The kimchi fried rice was okay, but it felt like more of a side dish than a main course.

What’s everyone having this week?

We’ve had the veggie spag bol for the second time and I really like it. The kids eat it too which is a bonus. I also have the meatless fajitas and salt and pepper cauliflower later this week.

Is that the sweet chilli cauliflower with salt and pepper chips? We gave the chicken version coming this week. Looks good!

I've just had prawns with quinoa and veg, which was okay. We've also got cheesy fish with med veg, nduja and tomato spaghetti, and spanish chicken with patatas bravas and aioli. Pretty good week, DD will be pleased. I've even got red and yellow peppers, no green!

Yes it is, I got it mixed up! Every week I think to myself, I must get one of those silicone liners because the chips in the gusto recipes always stick to the tray. Still haven’t got one yet!

Always have herbs, spices, flour and butter in the cupboards /fridge. They forget the odd thing occasionally.

I have noticed how much the chips stick too. The sweet chilli dish looks really good so I am looking forward trying it.
