I know he won't eat cheese unless it's melted, refuses all cold meat except roast beef and I didn't have any.
Allergic to egg and hates tuna.

He eats a good meal at night but I do agree it's not ideal.

Blondilocks · 08/10/2007 21:33

Sometimes she has grapes / melon / banana / apple

Sometimes do pitta bread, mainly sandwiches though.

I do mine at the same time so it all depends on what I'm having really.

Theclosetpagan · 08/10/2007 21:34

Cheese sandwich,
Cucumber sticks
Apple
Banana
Scooby Doo drink with straw (oh come on - the rest was healthy)

Thisisascareyplaice · 08/10/2007 21:36

only me doing cold pasta/rice by the sound of it.
is a good idea >

sometimes flask of soup, or big flask of hot rice and stuff in winter, only when very organised day before.
This is good its reminding me of stuff I havent done for ages.

Meat sandwiches, cereal bar, fruit, yogurt, pure fruit juice for the 3 yr old.

Larger protions of above for 9 yr old plus a packet of crisps.

BecauseImWereWolfit · 08/10/2007 21:44

DS2 is 12.

Today:

Two hot dogs with ketchup (wrapped in foil in a vain attempt to keep them warm!)
apple
carton orange juice (organic - hatch)
Rocky caramel bar
Pack of Hula Hoops

very healthy!

Theclosetpagan · 08/10/2007 21:44

DS likes cold couscous. I have no little Tupperware type thingies though. Will be getting some now that he is staying for lunch every day.

MrsSpoon · 08/10/2007 21:49

Both had

Cheese sandwiches (two slices of Burgen seeded bread, butter, cheese)
Lil Stony yoghurt
Strawberries
Red grapes
Apple juice

No much when I look at it written down.

ggirl, just interested as wondered if needed to make sure dd had some as she does have a main meal in the evening, so wasn't sure it was necessary, NOT being jugemental, promise!

Shroom, goodness, I LOVE spelt breads

chikenmother · 08/10/2007 21:56

Hi there! Why don´t your children eat a main hot meal at school at lunch?

brimfull · 08/10/2007 21:56

Dinny,no I know you weren't I'm just being irritable tonight

dinny · 08/10/2007 21:58

Chikenmother, dd did until this term but wanted to swap for friendship reasons

plus it really suits as ds is still at home and we have smaller lunch after playgroup and eat main meal in evening
