Disgusting! DS loves it and I hate the smell of it when I make his packed lunch. However, I'm glad he loves it: it's cheap and good for him!

Oh no it's disgusting.

Ds likes it on toast though and i forgot it was on there the other day and picked his toast up and then licked my thumb

Yuck Yuck Yuck I was nearly sick.

nutcracker · 23/09/2004 10:18

Twiglett that sounds disgusting, although Ds also loves bannans so i may try that one.

acnebride · 23/09/2004 10:49

Mmmm, mmmm, marmite. How old do they have to be before you can give it to them?

Once went on holiday to Stoke on Trent and ended up sleeping in a changing room near the Marmite factory, so the whole area smelled of yeast. What a great holiday that was (not). Put me off for a bit.

suedonim · 23/09/2004 16:03

Yummeeeeeee! Thinly spead marmite on toast is the perfect food for invalids. I don't know what age Marmite is recommended from nowadays but ds1&2 were raised on Marmite sandwiches, scrambled eggs and mashed bananas (Not all on the same plate!) from about 6ths old.

fio2 · 23/09/2004 16:06

it is good for you, low fat and tastes delicious

mind you too thick and it makes your toes curl!

Kayleigh · 23/09/2004 16:07
