THANKS A LOT.

I've eaten half a car in 2 days!!! I keep going at it with a damn spoon. It is seriously the most delicious thing I think I have ever tasted.

My jar of smooth Lotus arrived in a Sainsbury's shop today. It's (mostly) still there, but only because I begged DH to hide it where I'd never find it. I'm going to try dipping sour cream Pringles into the jar rank

now you might find this weird - but don't knock it til you try it!

ds and I have our lotus spread smeared on small cubes of strong cheddar cheese - it's abit like cheese and biscuits.

Anyone wanting to use up half a jar of the stuff?

Make cupcakes using one large spoon of lotus spread in the sponge mixture. Then make buttercream using 2 large spoons of lotus spread, half a pack of icing sugar and a little bit of milk - wisk for ages. Pipe or spread over the cupcakes and sprinkle with 2 crushed up lotus biscuits.

They taste incredible; and it's ideal if you want to use it up before the diet starts.

For anyone worried about the Palm Oil (I have been horrified by the photos of orangutans), I emailed them and they said this:

In response to your email below , it is correct we do use some palm oil in the
production of our spread as well as rapeseed /coconut and on occasions sunflower
oil. The oil that Lotus Bakeries use is RSPO certified and this certification
can be checked online on the following link-

www.greenpalm.org/

www.greenpalm.org/en/the-market/redeemed-certificate-owners

So it’s fine x

I wish I'd never tried it .... Can't stop eating it ... Out of the jar .... With a spoon ??
No wonder I'm not losing any weight.

Am considering trying to make a hot drink with it but hate the thought of not liking it and them I will have wasted the precious gloop - has anybody tried adding the crunchy stuff to hot milk?

I had a teeny tiny amount on a spoon and had an allergic reaction to it!

I googled the ingredients and couldn't find anything in it that could have set me off unless it was the soya. I can't drink soya milk drinks as they make my throat irritated.
