My mum will have a bag of cooked pasta from 1982 in her freezer. You can have that too.

I work directly opposite a sausage shop and I always get them to make me up LOTS of cocktail sausages for DCs parties(but I think you get the same effect by twisting normal - not fat ones - in half). Drizzle with runny honey and seed mustard, put in oven and cook. Stand back and watch them being devoured by grown ups and children alike. (And there is the added entertainment of allowing 2 year olds to run around with cocktail sticks...) You have to have sausages at parties involving children - pretty much mandatory. Also Hula hoops to go on their fingers - at DDs 2nd party last year there were about 10 2 years olds all with hula hoops on and absolutely entranced by them.

Someone at DS's nursery (who was Indian)used to make bitesize onion bhajies which were fab and always the most popular thing be a mile... I'd be very tempted to get the Waitrose ones.
