I'll bet I'm not the only one planing a barbeque this weekend.

I'd like to shamelessly steal some of your ideas OhCleverAndCreativeMNers.

I love BBQ'd fish.

i love barbecues too though I don't like lots of different things together, my favourite is probably squid but I also love mackerel with a mustardy potato salad or pork ribs with sweetcorn - and kippers are very good too - especially on an evening on the beach with some jacket pots done in the embers...

- OP, did you lend your phone to a toddler? Or sit on it - ha ha.

OMG I am glad none of you came to my BBQ today. It was totally shit by comparison.

We had chicken souvlaki on the BBQ today. It was deeeeelicious.

Marinate chicken breast chunks in a mix of natural yoghurt, crushed garlic, crushed coriander seeds, chopped chilli, lemon zest and juice and ex v oo, leave overnight in fridge.

Thread onto metal skewers and BBQ. Serve w sauce made from natural yoghurt, ex v oo lemon zest and finely chopped coriander. Also top with extra fresh coriander.

Just eaten the leftovers cold, even more delish.

OMG the bbq'd Halloumi was fantastic. I'm so having this every bbq from now on!
