.. and i don't mean the crappy standard ones. i mean the finest ones ever. i was always partial to tesco 'finest' and sainsbury 'taste the diff' but someone last year recommended the next step up on the posh scale to 'Duchy Originals' which i've bought but haven't tucked into yet.

which are the very very best in your opinions?

True story - I was watching tv last night and smiling thinking of this thread when, during the lacoste advert (B&W, man's bare botty in it, you must have seen it?) my dh said stop having smutty thoughts... and I said I was just thinking about mince pies actually!

Yeah right! says he...

Honesty I thought was the best policy, but now he thinks I'm completely nuts when I tried to explain about it being a Mumsnet thread he just didn't seem to understand... am I alone in this??

DaddyCoolNippingAtYourNose · 24/11/2005 14:52

no. i've tried to explain mn threads to dw but she just gives a weird look and says 'i don't want to hear anything about that stupid site'

lusty thoughts of mince pies? lol.

you could try to combine the two thoughts.... but if your anything like me, i'm not terribly into the whole food erotism rubbish.

WalkinginaRainbowWonderland · 24/11/2005 14:55

Isn't it amazing that a thread on mince pies can go longer than 160!?!!? Cool achievement Daddy-oh...

DaddyCoolNippingAtYourNose · 24/11/2005 14:55

i'm full of genuine pride

OP posts:
DaddyCoolNippingAtYourNose · 24/11/2005 14:57

only problem is, i'm shadowing this discussion with my colleagues at work and unlike MN'ers, they can't escape from my constant, mundane rambling about mince pies so i'm starting to really p**s them off royally. tough i say.

I however am getting increasingly worried about your work and your clients DC, how can you add up properly and have intense conversations about mince pies all day???

DaddyCoolNippingAtYourNose · 24/11/2005 15:19

i'm not really that kind of accountant but yes, my work is starting to suffer. i'm going through a bad phase right now (the wave of boredom that hits me just before christmas).

Girly · 24/11/2005 15:53
