POLL about cheese on toast

Do you

a) Toast first in the toaster then put the cheese on and grill

b) Toast on the grill first then put the cheese on and grill a bit more

c) Put the cheese on bread then put in the grill

Something me and my friend is arguing about

well - I'm a bit odd and like unmelted cheese on toast

but - if I'm doing proper cheese on toast then I usually toast on the grill then put the cheese on then grill a bit more. Don't see the point in using the toaster and the grill.

I grill one side of the bread under the grill. Then turn it over, put the cheese on and grill that side under the grill.

Would pmsl if someone came and said they would put the whole lot in the toaster though!

you can get special bags to make toasties in the toaster

cheese toasted sandwich is also good. I used to eat them with onion chopped inside too. My mother used to comment on it. Noticed you came in and had a toasted sandwich last night... kitchen smells of onion...

I am with SMTB, but also used horseradish under one slice and wholegrain mustard under the other (we were out of branston)
