A.I. Artificial Intelligence with Haley Joel Osment and Jude Law.

Oh gosh yes, I never got over the scene where the robot boy was abandoned in the wood!

Falling in Love - an oldie with Robert de Niro and Mery Steep

Oh my word I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone mention this film I thought it was great but yes sad. Wasn’t it a kind of take on brief encounter?

Well the saddest film I've ever seen is A Monster Calls

Seconding this, I watched it on a plane thinking it would be a heartwarming movie about a talking tree.
It is not, I was ugly crying on a plane full of strangers.

I find I always feel more exhausted after a weepy film, in your situation I’d rather watch something uplifting / funny.

But if you really do want a cry try About Time or Me before you.

Me before you gets me every time and I no longer have periods, It’s such a beautiful film, I’m filling up just typing this 🥹

deelishiS0 · 03/02/2026 23:30

What did you watch in the end?

alino · 21/03/2026 20:46
