Blitz
The Killer ( I wish I had waited to watch it on. Netflix rather than paying to see this at the cinema)
Conclave
Furiosa
The Room Next Door. Probably the worst for me.

The Fall Guy. I love Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt but this was boring and cringeworthy. Not funny or charming or interesting. Such a waste of good actors!

Leave the world behind on Netflix. I'm still angry I wasted time watching it.

I couldn't finish back to black or the six triple eight.

I liked the color purple remake but I haven't seen the original so I'll have to watch that.

FedUpWithXmasNow · 12/01/2025 06:45

@EveryDayisFriday you should definitely watch the original. It's brilliant. But get the tissues ready!

Oliveandbay · 12/01/2025 06:49

Just watched Emilia Perez and really not sure what to think of it. One of the weirdest things I've ever seen! I think it's going to win a few awards by the looks of it.
Would be interested to hear other peoples opinions!

Ditto, managed around 20mins. Relieved we didn't pay for it!

Another vote for Longlegs - dire

Oreosareawful · 16/01/2025 14:23

Another vote for Deadpool and Wolverine. Hubs and I went to the cinema to see it and would have walked out if it wasn't so crowded in there.

I quite enjoyed leave the world behind though.

Poor things.

Basically a dream come true for paedophile apologisers.

Such a shame as the costumes and scenery were brilliant. The story line and concept, sick, sick sick. 🤢

For those who haven't seen it- beautiful woman is given brain transplant using a baby's brain. So the adult sexualised body plus the innocence of a toddler/child are combined and she goes through sexual awakening and exploration, and exploitation by lots of different men, all with her talking like a child. Oh and she just loves being a prostitute. Of course.

Grim grim grim. Wish I'd never seen it.

Agreed.

If I'd seen Wicked, it would be on this list...

Hot Frosty

Watch it, I dare you...

Oh yes it was awful! I do love Chabert though!

Am I the only one that liked Conclave?😂

I thought it was very good.

Abracadabra12345 · 31/01/2025 21:26

I loved Conclave which I saw twice. Ralph Fiennes was perfect in the role
Liked Heretic
Liked Back to Black
Paddington in Peru wasn't a strong film but it was okay

I guess I don't see films unless I'm fairly sure I'll like them, so I didn't see Moana 2 or Poor Things
