Any recommendations for a quirky little gem of a film

The type that doesn't sound great in its synopsis but turned out to be brilliantly entertaining, moving, hysterical. It's probably British. Definitely understated.

I'll offer Marvellous with Toby Jones

It's a bit bad though isn't it.

I watched it and enjoyed it. Would have liked a different ending but won't spoil it.

It is so beautiful and certainly showcases James Norton’s superb acting talent. Heartbreaking film though.
I think it went under the radar because of Covid.

Such a sad subject but done so well and you’re right, it really does showcase his talent.

He can play thug Tommy Lee Royce in Happy Valley , the smooth, up market operator in Mc Mafia and a very ill window cleaner in Nowhere Special.
He is very versatile.
The Bond people should be beating down his door.
