This threads probably been done before..
But anyway..
what's your all time favourite film? Something that you would go back and watch again? Even if it's a strange one. My all time favourite is Shawshank redemption.. I know, I know! I've been asked why because everyone else seems to think it's boring but I honestly love it. I'm going on maternity leave soon and know I'll end up wanting to watch films when I'm bored. Hopefully I can look at this thread when I'm struggling for a film to watch! I'll take your word for it that it's a good film!

Cinema Paradiso, Palme d'Or winner version, not the lengthy self indulgent Director's Cut. Don't watch the wrong one. Set in Sicily, story of young fatherless boy and old childless cinema projectionist, is the director's (Giuseppe Tonnatore) own story. Sounds terrible. It's a fabulous feel good film that you'll watch more than once.

I.T. (Tim Curry version).

Devils Advocate.
Fit actors - tick
Interesting story - tick
Supernatural - tick
Twist - tick
And it’s got Keanu Reeves did I mention that?

Also love Shawshank Redemption. I had a real 'oh shit' moment. I love it when a film takes you by surprise.

The Departed, for the same reason. Great actors, characters and twists.

Slightly lighter films: When Harry Met Sally and One Fine Day.

Not seen any of them for ages. No time now Sad
