What film can you physically not bring yourself to watch?

I am not a big fan of horror films but I can tolerate them with a pillow and someone to hide behind.
I have a few movies I seriously cannot bring myself to even view the trailer of for fear of being scarred for life.
They are in no particular order.
Human Centipede
The shining
And scarface.

What about you guys?

We watched all of Freddie got fingered
I'd like to say it got better but I'd be lying.
I watched American history x and thought it was brilliant but will never watch it again.
I Google a particular film and thought it sounded like a pile of highly disturbing vmcrap dreamt up by someone with a sick sick mind. I don't even want to read the synopsis again .

NeedACleverNN · 30/05/2016 22:49

green milk and the shining I really liked.

not seen saw yet but seen a shit load of slasher movies. they all effects amd no story line and acting usually appalling.

rookiemere · 30/05/2016 22:52

Started watching train wreck last night couldn't bear to watch more than ten minutes felt like I needed a bath after and I've seen saw 2.

MrPoppersPenguins · 30/05/2016 22:52

Labyrinth and wizard of oz 2 both freak me out!
Hostel frightened the hell out of me (didn't get 30mins in)
When we were young my sister and I tried to watch Tremors about 5 times- each time we got to about 15minutes in and had to turn it off! Lol.

Oliviaerinpope · 30/05/2016 22:52

MrsBungle · 30/05/2016 22:55

The pianist!

I did watch it all the way through and it was brilliant. I could never watch it again. So sad.

ijustwannadance · 30/05/2016 22:59

I hate anything horror or things with torture and violence. Worse if it's based on real life or things that are real world based. Scares me that there are people capable of such horrific things.

Won't watch 18 cert films or even some 15's.
Wish I hate never seen casino because of one scene.
When I was younger I watched nightmare on elm st, pulp fiction etc and didn't bother me. I think as you get older death becomes more real.

Openup41 · 30/05/2016 23:01

On reading the title my first thought was the human centipede!

I accidentally stumbled across this film one late night. I got as far as the diagram the deranged man had sketched of how he was going to transform the people he captured into a centipede. That alone freaked me out. I walked out the room. My husband watched had the nerve to try to "fill me in". It disturbed me for days. If I had actually seen his "experiment" I would have been scarred for a loooooooong time.

I feel queasy just writing about it. My daughter had a stuffed centipede soft toy. I could not bear to look at it - threw it away.

TheoriginalLEM · 30/05/2016 23:01

oh God - bambi. no fucking way! id rather watch wolf creek.

Dizzybintess · 30/05/2016 23:05

A friend of mine lists the movies
Clockwork orange and I spit on your grave as his fave movies...can't say I'm inclined to watch either of those either.

OP posts:
Dizzybintess · 30/05/2016 23:07

Apparently human centipede 2 is even worse!

Mangoonmyshoulder · 30/05/2016 23:09

Robocop

The hand shooting scene. Never in a million years will I watch that film again!

SlipperyJack · 30/05/2016 23:11

I cringed my way through Wolf Creek with the sound turned down. What kept me going was the stunning cinematography and scenery.

I love horror like Blair Witch, but not slasher like Saw. I want to be scared, not nauseated.

I don't think I could watch Boy in Striped Pyjamas or Schindler's List.
