Little Voice
Shallow Grave I like to believe that Ewan McGregor survives in the end
Wish you Were Here, Emily Lloyd was so good, then nothing much became of her, this was probably the first film with a sex scene I ever saw
Secrets and Lies such great acting performances
The Full Monty, 1997 seems a long time ago now
In the Name of the father

There' films on this thread I've forgotten about that I'll have to put on our to watch list:
Letter to Breshnev- yes it's never on tv!
Me Without You- teen angst if I remember
Brassed Off
East is East- I loved that, there's now a sequel but I've not seen it

Does Abigail's Party count as a film?

Does Circle of Friends count? It was set in Ireland but not sure who made it.

My favourites are still trainspotting and 4 weddings though.

BOFster · 30/01/2015 21:49

Wish You Were Here was fantastic. I think Emily Lloyd had MH problems, sadly, and dropped out of the limelight.

YY to The Angel's Share.

On the Ken Loach theme Sweet Sixteen was very powerful when I watched it.

A film I would never tire of watching is Children of Men. A take on the PD James novel. And with the lovely Clive Owen.
