"The charge follows the release of the image on social media platform X, with the 46-year-old star first accused of re-posting the image on his X account in April 2024.
According to the Metropolitan Police, Fox has now been charged under Section 66A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
The incident saw Fox accused of sharing the compromising photo of TV star Narinder Kaur on social media.
The law makes it a crime to intentionally share sexual images of someone without their consent, with the intention of causing "alarm, distress, humiliation, or for sexual gratification".
He is now due to appear at Westminster Magistrate's Court on April 24.
If convicted, Fox faces up to two years in prison, with the risk of being placed on the Sex Offenders Register."

Sadly I see he is in complete denial he has done anything wrong and a number of people defending him on Twitter. The excuses given are "lots of people shared it" and "why don't the police arrest the person who originally took it instead". Any opinions?

Was that to me? I did.
However I read that it was at an event. My opinion is seeing a bit of boob or muff isn't that controversial .There will always be a risk when at some big press thing that your boobs will fall out or your sideless dress will reveal more than intended.

However from other reports it seems she was papped just going about her business so yes no different than a bloke getting a under the stairs shot.

I get it's illegal to repost these sorts of images so clearly LF is wrong to have done so ( as would anyone else).

She shared the pic? Where did she get it from? He took the pic so it must have come from him. He is a disturbed and dangerous menace, spreading poison for money because he's stuffed his acting career. Which was handed to him on a plate by the way. Put him on the SO register and give him community service picking up rubbish. Couldn't happen to a more deserving person, he's put a lot of effort into sinking as low as possible but look! Narinder Kaur apparently said something derogatory about one of Fox’s mates getting her breasts out ( Narinder denies this) and Fox posted the picture last year in retaliation, calling her a hypocrite.
I can’t find anything about the circumstances of the photo when it was taken in originally.

You know, sometimes women aren’t all that, can be a bit malicious. If I were ever to think a woman is trying to manipulate a law to get revenge on a man, and slur his name, it would be in this case. And it’s worked tbh as most people just blindly believe it. Doesn’t really matter now that the whole thing will evaporate, (dumb) people forever more will say “ Lawrence Fox the sex offender”

The picture was shared after NK was attacking one of LFs female friends in a derogatory way.

I was going to ask the same. Is there something wrong with him? Has some flesh eating parasite munched part of his brain? Or was he always this obnoxious but only recently aired his true opinions to the world?

All of that is completely irrelevant if sharing the image was illegal.

It's illegal if there was no consent to share it. I guess it will come down to what happend 15 years ago - was the photo intentional ( she was less established and trying to get herself known) and did she herself share it as some are claiming.

He's vile. If you're worried about a woman using your illegal posting of images to get "revenge", then perhaps don't post images that are against the law.

I could equally argue he's done that on purpose so dumb people will forever whine "he was set up and a woman "manipulated" the law". Doesn't change the facts.

The picture was withdrawn from publication. He was not entitled to post it. What she intended 15 years is not relevant. However much you’d like it to be.

He didn’t take the picture it was taken years ago, think it was 2009, by the “press”. He shared it recently. Doesn’t mean it is ok for him to do that I’m not defending him

Oh my goodness poor Narinder. What on earth has she done to deserve this? (Caveat there is nothing she could do to deserve this at all). This was done to shame her, hurt her and silence her and it is reprehensible. He should not have a platform to share things like this. His poor kids, I hope Billie is able to support them and counter act their fathers disgusting output. If he cared about his kids he wouldn’t set the example he does and he certainly wouldn’t hide behind them to protect him from the consequences of his own misogynistic illegal behaviours.

Of course there's a book to throw at him. It's called the law. He broke it now he gets investigated for it. He belongs on the Sex Offenders Register and I hope he gets some jail time too.
