Local poster for a menopause clinic is advertising it as suitable for all those with ‘ovarian systems’? I actually can not quite believe what I am reading. Is this what we have been reduced to?

I'm in menopause because of the removal of my ovarian systems so I guess their help isn't for me.

My ovarian system has been modified (2 x ectopics) so I lost the warranty.

So many of these threads about phrases that are replacing the word woman in healthcare. As a woman currently pregnant and attending countless appointments for various reasons, I have only ever been called a woman or seen posters that call women ‘women.’ The only place I seem to hear about women being called these phrases like ‘ovarian system person’, ‘non trans woman’, ‘baby reproducer’ or whatever is in articles with unverified sources or on mumsnets threads 🤷🏽‍♀️

Haha! A frontal birth suggests a c-section to me, as the baby comes out of the front of you. What a shambles they have made of clear language. There's actually something impressive about how much they twist words to avoid saying anything honestly.

What’s wrong with “C-section”? Does it offend people whose names don’t begin with C? Does it confuse anyone? So “dumbing down”.

It’s not a c section though.

It’s making use of the delightful term “front hole” rather than vagina.

I seriously thought there was something wrong with me as a child because I didn't have a gaping hole just below my belly button. From tv/jokes/diagrams I resumed the vagina was right at the front and a constant open tunnel. Big surprise when i realised i did have one after all.

This sort of stuff is confusing as hell for kids, just making it more so.

Omg - frontal birth? That just sounds so wrong and alien!
