Isn’t that the case with most rape trials……and it comes down to who’s the most believable? Which is probably why most rape trials aren’t successful.
However the American victim in particular was very believable, three of Brands hangers on/colleagues/employees backed her story up to the journalists, said they heard her screaming. She has evidence from the rape centre records where she gave a full statement and said it was a celebrity. I think it was her that has the text from him apologising when she told him “no means no” in her text.
I think in a court of law the balance of being believed would be in her favour.
edited….the post I was quoting has been deleted while I was writing but this was n reply to someone saying the tv programme was all “he said, she said” and wouldn’t stand up in court.
