I know it's always been a thing, why is it? Why do girls want to show their bums? Is it for the boys? And just generally all the makeup and boob jobs etc. Help me understand as my dds skirt is getting shorter each day, still not up to her arse thankfully.

I hate it but I also feel like I'm being a prude or something, they can dress how they want etc but I don't believe this is what they really want, is it? To be looked at as objects?

I think 15 year old girls think and know they’re sexualising themselves to boys around their age. That’s what I was up to, having been a 15 year old girl myself once. I wanted to be desired but not by some old man.

Exactly this. At 15, I wanted to appeal to boys of my own age or maybe later teens. I didn't see myself as a sexual being then and completely oblivious to the fact that a grown man might be looking at me in 'that way'.

Also, I was 15 in 1985 and nobody had their arses hanging out back then!

Yeah I was oblivious to some creepy old boy because I think at that age you’re just in your bubble. I wore a few “belts” in my time (early 90s). My dad would say “you’re not wearing that” but I found a way.
We also used to wear black bras because the shirts were see thru. I also remember buying a load of nice knickers hoping someone ie a boy would see.😂

Yesterday I saw young women going to their graduation ceremony. They wore black gowns and I noticed one who had teamed hers with towering narrow heeled sandals with scarlet straps. She kept stumbling because she couldn't walk right and her father ended up supporting her.

Then she turned and faced me. Her dress
was micro. The hem just covered her pubic area and no more. Along with her long gown it looked silly and cheap. Ok, youthful error but she would be having her photo taken in that outfit and she will be stuck with the image all her days.Did no one advise her on appropriateness or is everyone sure that young people should have no regard for formal occasions?
